Being a German/American following the Bundesliga (german league) i love derbys and this one was pretty good to watch too
This isn't a derby. The derby in Texas is Dallas vs Houston.
We have People who say the same Thing here too. They say it's a derby but it's not, sorry about that and thanks for letting me know ✌️
@@joggers7684its not technically a derby but the teams definitely dislike eachother strongly
@@AmbushRL. Traditionally 'Derby' just refers to a game between 2 teams in close proximity, not necessarily a single rivalry. The EPL often has more than 20 London derbies per season. Since Austin is closer to Dallas than Houston, I'd say they both qualify.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825Austin is actually slightly closer to Houston but yes I would still consider it a derby/rivalry.
my guy driussi going for the lightweight champion! never seen musa do that, my goat 🐐
what a fight
As Austin fc fan this was embarrassing and Dallas fully deserved that win
What a Texan derby
This isn't the Texas Derby.
@@AmbushRL. In the traditional sense, there are no Texas derbies because the teams are so much further apart than in Britain and Europe. However, if there's one Texas derby, then there could be 6 or more per season - 2 Dallas-Austin, 2 Dallas-Houston and 2 Houston-Austin, plus Open Cup, MLS Cup, etc.
Was there last night for my first game ever. Fc Dallas. Didn’t disappoint!

Ref sucked ngl
Maybe ngl, but not giving any specifics reads "my team lost and I need someone to blame". Villarreal is a FIFA International referee - I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825i was at the game- other than lack of cards handed out near beginning of the game he handled the match fairly well
What do you want the ref to do when the players start to fight like kids. He is one person. The only thing he can do is punish the right players
@@sanderholvik9650 im talling about the beginning of the match the ref was too lenient on giving cards for fouls that should have been called for yellows, which allowed the game to spiral out of hand and the players to fight like kids
Dallas players are clowns
And Austin gets our leftovers. What does that make them?
The goalkeeper movement rule is stupid for at least 2 reasons
1. In this case, we're talking about a matter of
Did you notice that your reasons are rather contradictory? if 2 inches really don't matter, then they don't make scoring more likely either. Law 14's requirement that at least one foot is on or over the line makes sense since it gives an objective criterion for a retake, rather than requiring the referee to make a subjective determination for whether the degree of encroachment impacted the kick or not. And GK's in every league with VAR have somehow managed to adapt - retakes are still very rare.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825 this is how you know they’ve never actually played soccer
@@chrisolivo9937 Except the rule used to be called loosely back when the keeper wasn't allowed motion before the kick. Now the keepers are allowed horizontal motion before the kick AND a foot forward off the line as well. The exchange for the rules granting the keeper this extra leeway was to ALSO be strict about the rules as they were written. UEFA wanted to eliminate the subjectivity on PK retakes that was a real problem before they cracked down on this, because then you ended up with the Briana Scurry nonsense at the WWC where she was practically out to the 6 yard box when the kick was taken, and the referee didn't have the guts to order a retake. The current state of things was their compromise.
That’s how PK are everywhere
