Ok but can we talk about how when Bandana Dee admires his spear, his eyes sparkle? Like, look at this good boy; holy shit.
He's in awe that he, a simple waddle dee, can carry such an important and valuable weapon, and be just like the rest of the heroes.
A 5th of this video is just Rick having a really good nap.

ok but in all actuality Bandana Dee's first idle is absolutely adorable
This game nailed it in terms of idle animations. They give everyone a little bit of personality and they're all so charming. And yes, Rick's sleeping animation is super adorable! Best idle animations in the series.

Otter Otterton i think that swaying is taken from kirby's sprite cause if you look at him He is swaying with them too and most of a small characters like blade knight, chilly or birdon are swaying with them too (even meta)
Nintendo were too Lazy to make different sprites of staying (in my opinion)
