    I think it looks better than EZFlare... Their stuff looks like it will fall off. Love your detail to the shavings... most ppl don't think about that.

    Brilliant. Just got some all terrains and offroad wheels with like -12mm offset so they stick out now past my current fenders

    Looks great! Wouldn't you want the fender flare in front of the mud flap like a shingle on a house for rain? Easy enough to swap around if desired I guess. Thanks for the video!

    Very nice, but does anyone have any idea how to make your own full fender? I mean to protect the whole inside of the car, I don't know how to say, to prevent all the mess from the tire?

      I think the only thing I would do differently is probably trying to curve around the front the fender.

    Could these be attached with something that isn’t a screw? some sort of glue maybe? I need to pass inspection on my RJ70 and my tires are just a bit too wide. i don’t want to put any holes on the car in case i want to remove them.

    brilliant, mate! how difficult are they to remove (with that silicon on there)? I'm looking for something like this to just slap on when I go off-roading, then pull them back off when I get home.

    • @Buildin70s
      @Buildin70s  Před 3 lety

      If you just want it for a temporary job don't put silicone on it just have it screwed in

    Nice idea, and looks good!. Grab yourself a "chinagraph" pencil, easy way to mark any surface and its not permanent, and they come in many colours.

  • @jacksonbarker391

    Hey man did you do clear coat on the truck as well when painting? I’m about to do my hdj79

    • @Buildin70s
      @Buildin70s  Před 4 lety +1

      Nah i didn't, the original 70s paint doesn't have clear coats but it won't hurt if you did, would just add extra protection for the paint.
      Good luck with you build mate
