Thanks for the comment. If you are coming with a student visa (Visto Temporário IV), you cannot work. The decree was reviewed and revalidated in 2013. Now let me explain. Such a rule somehow protects foreign students studying in Brazil. That is why they ask you to bring a sponsorship document when coming.
