Double European Champion! | Ingrid Klimke

Ingrid Klimke is a double individual European champion. The German Eventing Icon & her trusty Horseware Hale Bob Old were hunting the elusive individual title for quite some time, until they finally succeeded at the 2017 FEI Eventing European Championships in Strzegom! After seventeen years of Championships and numerous team medals, they finally won their first individual European Gold. They did not "fail to reach the podium", they actually won the Gold medal, went on the Podium but got disqualified after France and England disputed, because of an issue with the time mesure in the Show Jumping of one of her teammates! Please, do your research correctly.

I have a question - on the clip of Klimke riding the cross country course at Tryon, there was some sort of line that looked attached to the back of her vest and to the martingale that I’ve never seen before, what is it/what is it for?

Do you mean the pull for the airbag vest? It is connected to the front of the saddle ...
