      But as far as the devil being reviled before Tom's would be advent...er um, not so fast. On that one I cannot disagree more.
      I WAS one of those Satanists and Luciferians that was like, "pppssshhh yeah right please you've got to be kidding me?"... at first...." Sorry not sorry
      But I have since changed my tunes about Tom Ellis and his portrayal of The Prince of Darkness 😈⚡💯💘😱👺👹🌠☄️✨🐍🐲🐉💯
      Neil Gaimen one of the comic's original creators touched upon a lot more of the truth than non-believers realize.

    Tom is extraordinarily talented and passionate.
    I adore all the thought he put into Michael and that he chooses his roles based on what's worth the time away from his daughters, it illustrates how dedicated he is as both an actor and a father. 💓

      His parents are Welsh (he was born there?), I think, so there's a bit of that one in there.
      I notice that in a few words, because I watch some Welsh actors. I'm not from GB, so I don't have 100% confidence on that.

      lucifer’s accent is a more “posh” upper class english accent while tom’s accent is welsh with english aspects mixed in :)

    • @erinmcguigan8700
      @erinmcguigan8700 Před 3 lety +2

      Tad late but, as someone from the UK, I can say that Lucifer’s accent is more southern English and what many would refer to as ‘posh’. Tom Ellis naturally sounds more northern, I’d say a lot of Yorkshire aspects within how he speaks, though not entirely. This could be due to his being born in Wales, as certain phrases do have a slight Welsh edge. 😊

      He played the role of Michael well.
      I'm thinking Michael since doesn't age, will Michael end up with Trixie in the future? I'm thinking Trixie is Michael's gift from God. When Michael leaves hell after thousands of years of being there, he will see a grown up 40 year old Trixie on earth and fall in love with her. So Trixie will be the one to change Michael into a good person. And she will fall in love with Michael too. Maybe this will be in a Lucifer spin-off series? 🤔

    I didn't get the show at first, but I watched more episodes with my partner, Jenni and I was drawn in by Tom Ellis, he really is perfect for this role. I have to give credit to the writers as well. I'm not a professional writer, but when I can get into their minds and predict the shows moments, I know they are making the right choices.
    Now don't get me wrong, they've created some moments early on that I couldn't possibly see coming (like the very first time he meets his "dad" after all those centuries).
    I had no idea Tom has three daughters! No wonder he's so normal around Trixie. He's probably been enjoying his greatest role yet...being a great father and husband.

    I loved the beginning of one of the episodes in Season 5 where he kidnaps this doctor to get rid of his demonic looking wings and asks him if he can remove those warts from his back or if he can tattoo them to make them look better. When the doctor looks puzzled he shows his visual aid of what a 5-year old would draw and I just cracked up so hard and spat my tea all over myself literally. I LOVED that transition from a very serious looking scene to a very funny scene :) Love the sense of humor Tom is bringing to the table with his incredible acting...
