Vince Carter former dunk champion. Vince Carter was well known for his dunking, but his shooting stroke was what made his career last this long. I hope VC has a great retirement and wish him all the best. Ever since I first saw the 360 windmill dunk he has been my favorite player of all time. I really wish he had won a ring in his career, but sadly with the Hawks not being the best and the season be ended for them early he will not be able to continue playing for his final season.
Thank you Vince Carter for the past 22 seasons of joy, pure athleticism and gravity defying fun.

For the first time in my life I know Vince Carter isn't gonna walk onto that court with the number 15 on his back ready to play and inspire. All my life I could always count on being able to see the electricity that inspired me to play basketball or any sport even but now that's gone. But I'm not sad or disappointed I'm just thankful. I remember watching him when I was younger, 3 - 5 years old at the time, and boy was he something else in his prime in Toronto.... Broke my heart when he left and dominated us as a Nets player. Over the years, its kinda rough seeing an old time hero overtime; 4 different decades is insane to think about. He did put Toronto on the map, and as much as he did us wrong by leaving, he meant a lot to the franchise. Still one of the best dunkers that played in the NBA no doubt.
