You are a inspirational human being sir. I have have made many mistakes and have lost my way several times. I was disconnected from the lord and very angry with him after loosing my only brother 3 years ago. I've been watching your videos now for 2 years or so. I can honestly say since I discovered this channel I have rekindled my relationship with the lord and my family. I hope someday I could thank you for that somehow. I've always been an outdoorsman, my whole family has. Thank you for sharing your fishing/cooking vids. My wife has myotonic dystrophy, it's muscle wasting and weakness. She's 56 now, but it took her fishing and outdoor climbing abilities at age 48. I can't go hunting and fishing like I used to, because she loved fishing so much, and she needs someone around her nearly all the time. Your family have so much fun, it's pure delight watching. Keep up the out of the norm hunt- catch-clean-cook, it's just great. Oh, and GOD BLESS YOU.

That's called shrimping the hard way...! When I was a boy, growing up in south Louisiana, my Dad had a 16' trawl which he pulled behind a 15' bateau... It was a lot of work for us kids, and looking back, I surely appreciate it more now than I did at the time...! The best part is that after the hard work, we had shrimp in the freezer that lasted 'til the next summer when the season opened again...! I guess I was just too young to know what 'good times' were back then...! Glad to watch another fine DMFD video! ;P

Went out fresh water fishing for the first time. Caught my first bluegill and trout! When you put the shrimp on the J hook and hooked on. You reeled in a trought and I suddenly smiled because of how the universe works.
Love this channel. Always get a great positive feeling watching it. Thank you!!! One thing that would be interesting to see would be a foraging video of Florida native natural plants and uses, and some of the dangerous plants to watch out for too. I saw the fatwood and swamp cabbage videos and loved them!

So many things left undone.....so many people from FB not met. The lord took her home April 3rd of this year, and that left a huge hole in my heart, and loneliness' like you cant imagine. Our story goes deeper than could ever be explained here. You and Sarah have that kind of relationship........nurture it, and never lose sight of just how lucky really are. Love your videos.
