I think he's quality, as a Spurs fan it was a real shame to see him leave but i hold nothing against him. Great player, hopefully we'll see him back at the lane towards the end of his career

The stats were actually just league stats buddy.. Also you can compare Leon Britton's stats to Arteta's and Carrick's within the same league & Britton's is better..
what I am saying is this.. YES you can be at an inferior club and be a better player than a player in the same/similar position at a big club..
BUT when Carrick is one of the 1st names on the sheet for United since 2007, THAT kind of speaks for it self.. Especially since United have come 1st or 2nd every year since he signed :)

ok lets talk stats.. Didnt Leon Britton have better passing stats than Xavi and Iniesta? Does that mean he's better than them two?? No, There is a reason Xavi and Iniesta plays for Barcelona and Britton plays for Swansea..
Likewise there is a reason Michael Carrick is at United winning things and Arteta is at Arsenal who celebrate getting 4th.

your logic is poor two different leagues they play different teams unlike carrick and arteta xavi plays more games so his stats would be lower then brittion no to mention his passes are normally sideways passes.unlike arsenal who are in champions league like united played the same teams in prem in and are in all the same competitions
