What I used:
- Pampas Grass
- Airbrush Compressor
- Airbrush Pistol/Gun
- Liquid Food Coloring
- Water

Where I live we have an online market where people can sell their stuff (similar to ebay but a lot more friendly) and people actually sell their pampasgras for you to cut :) Other than that you can take a look at etsy, there are stores that sell beautiful ones! I hope I could help 😊

I didn't know what a cosmetic air brush is, but i looked some up and they only have about 1/3 of the strenght of mine with the compressor. So it could be a bit harder to get the colors deep into the pampas grass, but nonetheless I think it should work, just hold the air brush closer to the grass while spraying :) Also it's just water and food coloring so it wouldn't damage your air brush if you try!

Did you bleach them?
Hi! :) No, this pampas grass is very light to begin with, unfortunately I still haven‘t found a good way to bleach plants. The only easy thing is to put them in the sun for a few weeks, that way a lot of them get lighter ☺️

Yes I just mix it with water, so when the pampas grass dries there is just the foodcoloring left. Also the Airbrush Gun doesn't get dirty, you can just clean it with water after using it :)
What do you do for making grass stay longer and not shedd ?
Hi salman khan! 😊 after I colored them I spray them with hairspray. I do that again every few weeks and I got the feeling they get sturdier and even fluffier that way :) Also if they are collected when relatively "young" they shed much less then older ones

Oh but I think you will have a lot of fun with it :) and you have much more control over the colors and it colors more thoroughly! Maybe I‘ll come up with some ideas how else to use the airbrush for cool stuff :)
