So loving this figure. This is one figure which took me 10 seconds to decide to get it. He & Padme is just an absolute have for me in the display. Also, im also loving all the things that come with it, especially the display. GReat video for an awesome video. Cheers mate

I think the sculpt looks good. I cancelled my preorder for Mace bc it was too off, but I did keep the Kenobi Clone Wars. I really like Anakins box! Looks super dope
If you didn't think you would like Mace its understandable you cancelled it - no point having it in the collection if you're not happy with it 👊🏻 At least that frees up cash for other figures 😃 Cheers for watching mate!! 🙌🏻

Amazing review as always my friend! I have this on order and its a must have if you are all in on the AOTC line. I feel this is something that looks better in person vs on camera like how I felt about Mace. That being said, I'm excited for it! Congrats on the pickup and great review!

Thanks for the review! Due to space I can’t get him, I just can’t bring myself to part with my original light side anakin as I still firmly believe it holds up perfectly fine. Still nice to see he looks better than whatever the blogger photos were cooking lol

Great figure , I like it a lot , really well done. I genuinely like all his figures and what a fantastic one this is for posing next to others, so many ways to display him aren’t there. The Years have flown in, can’t believe it has be that long 🤯. Figures are coming thick and fast so so many new releases, I am guessing your collection room must be at just about maximum capacity again, even though I know you added extra detolfs😮. He looks really good and this is my favourite outfit for him to wear. The lighter shade of brown of his tunic works better than the darker brown of his light/dark side versions, imo.
His partially constructed (did you say they call it mechno?) hand is a nice accessory. Don't think I'd display him with it attached, but it's a wonderful option and extra to have.
You point out the seamless neck, and I have to agree with you that it looks better to have no seam there. Guess it's a trade between looks and poseability and depending upon which one of those matter to a collector most will factor whether or not they prefer the seam, I suppose.
08:56 Anakin posed beside Padme does make both figures that bit better. So good to see.
It's a great outfit, and yeah subtle difference with the lighter shades of brown. I actually forgot to try the mechno-arm, I've found removing the arm and inserting the replacement can be quite tricky on other figures so maybe subconsciously avoided doing it 😅 But its cool to have in the set. Aside from looking a little soft, at least on video, the sculpt and its likeness is excellent.
Sometimes a head sculpt doesn't turn out ok, but most of the time it's the questionable quality (lighting, angles, camera focus, lack of decent close-ups, poses) of the early videos and photos which can give a false impression. It happened with this figure, and even more so with Inart's Aragorn.
Totally agree! Lighting, angles, camera focus and poses can all make or break the photography. There's nothing quite like getting it in the collection and seeing for yourself though! 😃 Thanks for watching and dropping a comment 🙌🏻
I think when it comes to releases we just need to wait until we get these figures in hand, because it's hard to judge the figure from photos and different lighting awesome video though.
Yeah you can’t beat having the figure in-hand to really form an opinion of what you think of it. The photography and videos can be just seen as a rough guide as to what to expect 🙌🏻 Thanks for checking out the video 👊🏻

All I’m saying is I hope Sideshow releases it soon because I’ve been waiting for so long. I had it on pre-order for almost a year now. I got my padme when it said the expected ship. However, the Anakin one got delayed till July through October 2024.😤 I just hope I get mine
Sideshow take a while for most releases tbh. Day 1 releases take about 12 months from announcement for most figures. Then add a few more months for Sideshow to get their allocation to start shipping out. Worth the wait though this one! Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
Really want this figure. Prices are still good. Just disappointed there isn’t a crop top Padme. It makes the blaster useless. Would be a hard job to DIY.
Yeah goes really well with Padme in the display. Two fantastic figures! I would definitely not attempt a DIY on Padme's top, I just prefer to keep the figures as Hot Toys intended them 😃

😱😱you didn't put the robot hand on! Quite a nice figure no neck seam was good , bet that pleather will cause agg down the line 😭😭.
Yep, completely forgot about the techno-arm 😅🤦🏻♂️ I really dislike having to pull the arm out of the socket though so kinda thankful I forgot 😅 Had zero issues with any pleather in my collection so hopefully will be all good 😊👍🏻 Just have to keep the figure out of direct sunlight, humidity and temperature extremes. I really like this figure, the hair impresses me more than anything, so cool. I think the reason the head looks a bit off is because he looks younger than I think he does in the film, his face looks fuller. To me this screams the speeder chase scene. How do you think the pleather will hold up, it looks more shiny and different from older figures with pleather, hopefully it will last better. Think this one is a must have prequel figure. Great video as always dude 👌
Was really impressed by the hair too 😅 The fact that the seam is very well concealed as well is a bonus! I think he actually looks slightly different ages throughout the film tbh (I mean he obviously aged during filming). In this figure I see the scene on Tatooine mostly, where he's talking to Padme in the Lars garage area.
You're right the pleather does look shinier doesn't it. Tbh I've never had a problem with pleather on any figure in the collection fortunately. The climate here is good for figures! 😅

@@TK421Collectibles Yeah, now you mention it, it does look like him from that scene. Yeah, I was really impressed when you opened the head to roll the eyes, I just couldn't see where the line was. I never had pleather issues until I we bought an older lord of the rings figure, Gothmog and all the pleather straps had crumbled and now I'm paranoid. Always dude, keep up the great work! 👍🏻
Oh yeah sorry to hear about your Gothmog! Can understand the paranoia when you've seen something deteriorate first-hand. I'm just keeping everything crossed that I don't encounter issues! 😅🤞🏻

Great review. I don't understand all the b_tching about the headsculpt, either. But I think there is a law that no matter what, people have to b_tch about the headsculpt. 🤣
TBH, those loose wires don't look too great. Not sure I will display him with them lit, either. Even if you do a better job with hiding those wires, you still have the USB cord to contend with.
At the rate I get new releases, maybe I'll get this one in time for my birthday (October). 🤣

I always worry about fake leather.figure ok .not as good as padme .only cause i own her he he head sculpt not quit there .
If you keep the figures out of direct sunlight and in humidity and temp controlled room you're sorted and the pleather will last for years and years. Never had a problem 🙂👍🏻

Im boycotting hot toys until they get rid of the pleather and start making things from real leather.
Don't think that will happen. Maybe protect the pleather with a solution instead?

My original one is still fine despite being over 7 years old at this point. It's all about humidity and sun exposure.
My issue with that is it may bump up the price even more! They seem to be getting pricier as it is! But yeah I'm all for more durable figures though at the end of the day! Thanks for watching! 🙌🏻
Tips to prolong pleather life
1) dont touch the pleather with bare hands , sweat will destroy it
2) use silica gel to absorb the moist in your display cabinet
3) store your figure in room temperature
4) do not attempt to clean it with wet cloth

None of my figures of over 10 year with pleather flakes. Im living in malaysia and our temperature is tropical.
