VIDEO SAYS: “Your parents invited you into the world, they done the best they could. If their best isn’t good enough, get out there and create your own world.”

Very true
It's easy to say, hard to do. Get out and create your own world. Lol
*brought, not invited
#10 is full of crap... what if you were born with congenital deforminty or disability???! What if you were deprived so much as a child that you didn't grow to your full potential (physically and or mentally)?! What if you got into an accident or got assaulted?! Okay okay, I've seen some people overcome those very odds against them, but that doesn't mean it wasn't like 10 times harder!! Health is wealth! That's top!
Tewasa Sonko, you are absolutely correct
People get to know God when your still young praise him while you still can’t. Serve your God while you still function one it might be a regret when you get old.
Amen , preach it
The best advice of all.
Avicee said in one of his that, one day his father him that he shouldn't let it slip away else when you grow older your heart will live for younger ages '. In these young ages that we need to make investment spiritually, financially, emotionally, physically and so on.
Amen 🙏🏾

Mistakes young people should avoid,
1. Using Drugs💊/smoking🚬
2. Alcohol & partying too much🥂
3. Involve in crimnal behavior📰
4. Hanging around with the wrong crowd🤬
5. Dropping out of school🏫
6. Overspending💳
7. Not investing💵
8. Staying in a toxic relationship😫
9. Having a baby too young🤱
10. Relying on others for your true happiness🚫😀.
& bad habits old people regret😫
Depends what type of schooling your talking about, I personally think everyone should atleast finish high school even though most of the things we learn are useless, just finish it for the diploma just Incase you really need it at some point in your life, better than nothing, college on the other hand is not for everyone and there is many ways to become rich and financially successful without going to college. Plus most people that go to college end up with average jobs that sometimes they actually end up hating and don’t even make over 100k, your stuck paying all your debt also if you were not born into a rich family or didn’t get a scholarship.
@@rghdfhh5971 if your going to college, study hard & finish. Don't go & drop out, then have that hugh debt, which will take you forever to pay off. Yes, you're going to have hugh debt, either way. But, at least your odds(with a college degree) on getting that high paying job is much greater. It's better not going to college altogether than going & dropping out with student loans.
I won't regret when i'm old with all those experience. It's all worth it.It's boring being normal like most people, son.
None of this apply to me

Very true.
Long Story Short.
Don’t spend money on unnecessary things.
Be Street Smart more than Book Smart.
Don’t give up on just anything only give up on something that doesn’t benefit you.
You can think, believe, but still not know u just have to trust ur own instincts.
Don’t automatically assume that something will work out always use common sense and think before u take action on ur part so u don’t screw urself over.
Don’t flatter yourself always take care of business first than u can pat urself on the back.
Save money as time goes on just incase something isn’t finically stable.
Love urself and stay true to urself and if someone agrees with ur life style than u can share ur soul with someone who is just as special as u r.
Don’t be a people pleaser and do not care what people think because they r not gonna mater in life so just ignore people that don’t give u any hand ups and not hand outs.
People make mistakes but don’t put the blame on them just remember to distance urself from people who say they love u you just have to love them from a distance including family and so called friends.

In short: hollow nothing advice.
While the points are valid, the comment about "If you're 75, then we're sorry" kind of shook me.
My grandmother started painting at the age of 72. She is to turn 92 this year. So if you think people aren't capable of learning past a certain age, then you're very mistaken.
A BIG SALUTE😀😀😀

When I was young, school, television, family, and friends told me how to think. I was so naive to believe them. I am an adult now and I think for myself: I know God exist and I follow this ways-the ways of this world lead to false & temporal meaningless fulfillment.
Do u think the God bring us onluly like this
And good to follow the way of God with zero contradiction. This the real way and I hope u study the relagions to know that way.
This my advice to you bro
That's the meaning of the life
Family/school tells you that there is no God, and that education is the key to everything. That is what I mean.

Am 25 and have learnt a lot mostly especially is to be strong &determined
I utterly enjoyed this video.I always blamed my parents for my failure. I thought they made some mistakes in my upbringing. However, by watching this video,I came to know it was I who is responsible for my failure. From now on I will never hate my parents for who I am today.
Procrastination is my main drawback in achieving my goal but that too needs to be taken care of as challenge . But I do not know. New year resolution does not work. Another thing that needs to be taken care of is trying to please everybody. This thing has also marred my life. I have lost great amount of money trying to please people who doesn't value me by buying expensive things in order to please them. I was always made to believe that doing good others brings goodness in return. But that too is not the right thing to do by empty our valuable money.
Bottom line: you got to be SMART . LIFE is a Jungle and A Fight

A lot I have learnt from this video. I can attest to No.2. Though I'm not a degree holder and in my early thirties, I have come to understand that life is all about learning. Today I can do things that even a degree holder come marvel at and say, " men, you are good, how did you come about this?" And I'm like to myself, "I am not even at the level that I want to be." The truth is that I kept learning since I had no means of obtaining a university degree. Today I'm a confident fellow who is still learning and will always keep learning.
You need to have basic Education like reading, thinking and emotional intelligence dude

Great video, I wish I saw this video 20 years ago
What a advice! I am absolutely enjoyed watching and listening the facts of life during young generation's period.
Thanks for dis video. This just wat I truly need at this stage of my life
I have heard so much about what mistakes young people shouldn't make but I am a person who has never taken risks in my life and always stuck to the safe side. And my life, right now, is not in a good shape. I became a web developer a year ago when I was 20 years old, I have no college degree but I have my job. I just wanted to see if I could switch careers or something.
I want to know what mistakes I CAN make. I hate feeling crippled by fear and always sticking to the safe side. :(
Hmmm...when one is stuck too long at the safe side a.k.a. the comfort zone, it is usually because:
1. There's fear of disappointment, if the change you sought out didn't turn out as great as you have expected.
2. There's fear of rejection from yourself or other people. You want acceptance from important people in that change area, or you feel you cannot accept yourself if you fail.
3. There's insecurity that you don't have what it takes to handle the challenges.
Have you listened to your fears & asked yourself how to overcome it? In your case, now that you know you want a career switch & trying to figure if it would be favourable to you... the solution is, have you researched what is that new career like for you? List out the pros & cons, and see if you can cope with the con parts, especially?
Switching industries/career is riskier if you're in your 40s & onwards. 30s is still ok actually - you have new grounds to break, such as different set of skills needed for the job + new groups of people to connect with + have new life/work culture to adapt to. So long you have an open mind to give yourself a month at least to see how the new career change is like hands-on, you won't live with regrets later on during your 50s for not trying then.
If during that one month, you can get the hang of the new career's nuances, for one, it would consequently help you connect better with colleagues (if you're bad in your job, colleagues & bosses will slowly alienate you). Two, it is a sign this is the change you can go for it & live with it for a long time.
But...if that one month, you flounder everything during that probation time, the change may not be for you, but it will at least give you a sense of peace - that you did take a risk & grew wise from learning from mistakes & experiences. Comfort zones cannot teach you these. Think of Challenges/Mistakes as your Life Teachers :)
Come out of the comfort zone, tat is self restrictive barrier, make things positively work for u in everything, just by updating wat is needed in ur work for u to shine brighter.
The “20” are for learning and enjoying your youth. The “30” are for searching work in your career. This is the critical time in your life. Not only trying to find work that will provide life long satisfaction, but will provide a guaranteed pension plan ( defined benefit plan) as provided by Unions or in Government. All others are Casino type benefit plans offered by Corporate employers. Here today gone tomorrow employment and 401k . It is in the 30’s that most people make their mistakes. Career and retirement plans have to be the most crucial choice in your life.
John Gergen Interesting.
Nice
What do you mean here today, gone tomorrow, employment and 401k?
regina konga : There was a time in the United States, starting in the 1940s , strong Unions existed that bargained for the employees of corporations. Wages kept up with inflation and retirement benefits were guaranteed after a lifetime of work. Corporations depended on Local work force to produce their products under union contracts. This all changed when the Corporate bought the Congress and Senate of the United States. Under new laws, Corporation could move to foreign countries for cheaper labor. State “Right to Work Laws” weakened Unions. Job guarantees and retirement benefits disappeared. Only State, Federal, and Local government jobs continued to provide guaranteed retirement . I lived and seen this change in my lifetime.
John Gergen Thank you for the explanation.
This is really a helpful reminder for today's generation. Kudos to your team! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 💯
Really great video brother
I’m 26 and just now really starting to get myself together good I’ve always been a good dude I just use to spend money 💴 foolish on girls that don’t care about me really or just on shopping now I’m more relaxed and don’t spend as much
I agree with everything he is saying, however, most of the blames based on our ignorance have to be on our parents, they don't prepare us or educate us when it comes to manage finances. As an African native, to be more specific congolese we grew up being shouted at instead of being educated. we were not taught about the pros and cons of life and so on...
Thanks for the video...it has really blessed me

Sadly, educaters are more interested in teaching students what to think these days(feminism, global warming, social justice) instead of teaching them how to think for themselves, to think critically. I'm grateful I grew up in a time and place where I was taught to question and find truth. The truth is not subjective! Just our perspective.
Well said Rob.

I am 33 and I can easily say that finding your lifes purpose and saving money as well as investing smart is the most important thing you have to accomplish as a man. More important than love or even family, you really need to get out there and make your hands dirty, everything else will fall in place later.

1, young people spend money n trivial things

me after watching: I think i phone 7 is enough for me
Young people forget to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Whether young or elderly this is the most important proponent to a successful life. He is the best friend to have.
Everyone should love Jesus PBUH but everyone must worship the real god and we have to search for that and worship him, as by my point of view Jesus was just prophet of god.
Amen! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ so that you will be saved!!!
Amen
Amen! However let me remind everyone that believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior doesn't guarantee that our lives will be free from problems and have an easy and prosperous life here on earth. If you will truly believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He guarantees that you will be saved from God's wrath.
@@fahad896 Hi ! My friend, Jesus is God because he claimed to be God ( The Great I AM ). Jesus is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Almost all of the prophets of God made references that Jesus of the New Testament is the Almighty God of Israel.
