The actor who played the doctor passed away last year in February. I don't like the films but Dieter was a good and devoted actor. Rest in peace.

I feel bad for the actor it’s obvious from the first and third film that he has a lot of talent. It’s a shame that his memory will always be associated with this franchise.
I remember the day a friend of mine was describing The Human Centipede to me and I was laughing my ass off. I watched the movie later that night and wasn't laughing anymore, it was brutal lol.

When I first heard of this movie, I thought it was a creature from a dark dimension that had Human parts to it.

People should know that reflexes like sneezing, coughing and vomiting are basic for survival and that being forced to eat poop would make you die from asphyxiation if you couldn't get it out of your mouth immediately.
I think they were splitting hairs. This might have been accurate to the point that people could be physically sewn together like that, but having them thrive is pure fiction.

Good point. But tbh I even doubt this surgery would work without using a device to connect anus and mouth. And the chance these victims would not wake up from narcosis due to respiratory depression plus restriction of airways is very high.
Sopho Nax the surgery alone is unrealistic. A single surgeon isn’t enough. You would need a surgeon to sow the people together, you need a dentist to take out the teeth, and you need an anesthesiologist to give the correct dosage of anesthesia to each of the three people.
This is one of the funniest reviews of disturbing movies I’ve ever heard.

Sydneyyww I am not sure this is true, weirdly enough this actually relates to an area of what I guess you could call a special interest of mine. I have a bachelors degree in Holocaust and Genocide studies and now work in the medical field so I have studied the medical experimentation of the Nazi party extensively and I have never once come across anything like this. Dr.Mengle did try and create Siamese twins by sewing two people together but they never survived. I’m guessing that what you are referring to? It’s a somewhat similar idea but a real stretch to say this movie is based on the actions of the Nazis

I love horror, it’s my favourite genre but it just gives me trust issues. If I’m lost in the woods and I find a house, I’m walking back into the woods. I’d rather be eaten by an animal or starve than turn out like this. 😂
