    is never true that those who traveled long before someone coming knows alot. knowledge comes from within and having interests in knowing.

    • @ghsheabutterblacksoap2846
      @ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 Před 23 dny +7

      Exactly! Most of our people don't even know much. They travelled strictly for economic reasons (work, work, work), and don't know much about prevailing opportunities for self-improvement and growth. Some will even give you b@d advice deliberately to derail you. Yes, you can listen, but make your own observations and decide for yourself.

    • @jossmaan2839
      @jossmaan2839 Před 22 dny +2

      You can never get 100% in anything. True some here for long know more than a new arrival, just as some coming new may know more than some old burgers by way of reading etc. But if I have to take advice from someone I will listen to the old burger and analyse his experienced advice first before I will consider that of a new bee's inexperienced advice. It all boils down to smartness. If you are smart you can differentiate, verify the good from the bad advice from any angle. If you are already smart in Ghana, you will be smarter abroad, but if you arrive below average, you can improve.

    You already having too much stress here in abroad to again add stress back home to yourself, you will die early. Just do what you can do, don’t force things, you are not responsible for the challenges back home, let them hold the government back home responsible. Problems are always there and problems back home won’t finish, you can’t solve it, if the government with all the resources can’t solve the problems back home, who are you individual doing donkey jobs abroad to solve the problems back home? my brother you can’t. How much money do you have? the little money you earn here chunk of it goes to bills, and you can’t live abroad and you say you won’t pay bills that means you have to live on the street.

    loneliness is one major factor you are going to face when you move here, no one has time for you, people die in their rooms and no one knows until the body starts to smell, because even your next door neighbour won’t check on you, you will see people smile but deep inside them they are suffering and crying, weather crises, imagine you wake up so early morning in snowing 🌨️ cold weather rushing to work, chasing donkey jobs, your jobs comes with lot of conditions, even you don’t like the job you have no choice than to do it. People are destroying their health and body due to the job they are doing, you earn the money but the money don’t reflects on you, you can’t even enjoy the money. Your entire life is programmed. Indirect slavery life, that is why one’s you are here you should be planning to fix things back home and move back to your country of origin. Don’t try to please everyone, or trying hard to solve people problems, you will die before your time.

      Like everything else, one must have a goal. Define the goal, work on delivering the goal and execute your plans. Nothing comes easy in life. One has to work for a living be it in Ghana or in the diaspora, so the choice is yours. You can't have your cake and eat it too. One has to work hard to make it in life. Period. No short cuts, no easy ways. Forget about the politicians and their cheap money in Ghana. That is not reality. Listen and learn. Work smart and attain your goals. Period.

      Don’t we all have choices? Nurses are in demand in America. They are needed because of the ageing population. Good luck in your future profession. Opportunities abound everywhere in America. You just have to look for it. If the door cracks a little, take advantage.
      I am a retiree & have never regretted in coming to America in the early 70s. I don’t want to hear people advocating that some of us shd return home. It’s a personal choice. America is a nation of immigrants.

    Abroad life is VERY VERY STRESSFUL, if you are not mentally and physically strong enough you can’t stand the pressure and stress living abroad in advanced countries. Your life is all about living to work, and pay bill, the depression living abroad is too much, causing many people having severe health problems, so many people are moving around but sick inside, mental illness, bipolar, you have no life, specially when you have dependents on you both home and abroad, it forces many africa immigrants here to work so hard and even take jobs they don’t like, because they have so many responsibilities on their shoulders, they are the breadwinners of their families, they don’t have time to eat well , time to sleep, time to rest, always living with alarms ⏰ and time. Your whole life is programmed. africa immigrants living abroad are physically living abroad but their mind and soul is in africa, so they are neither living in abroad nor living in africa. This is very sad and pity. But people back in africa don’t really know the stress and depression you going through living abroad, they think you are living happy life here until they also get here. The place to live is your home country if you can make a living there. To move to abroad comes with a lot of stress, challenges, depression and pressure. If you can’t stand this, then sorry don’t even bother looking for visa to travel abroad to hustle, is very very tough, some people get here and end up in jail, some fall sick and die, some end up having mental illness.

      Another lazy Ghanaian being all negative in the comments. Nothing good in life comes easy my friend. It takes hard work blood,sweat and tears. Doesn't matter where you find yourself geographically you gotta break your back to make it. Somethings gotta give. Some of you are just too weak it's annoying sometimes.
