I'm Mariah Alice, and I live the "solo female van life" with my dog, Finn. We've been on the road full time since June of 2020, and although our road has been met with what feels like a zillion ups and downs, we've finally gotten to the point where living in a van feels like home. Sometimes we're alone in the woods, sometimes we're alone in a desert, sometimes we're chasing snow or thunderstorms, sometimes we're trying to see all 50 states, and sometimes we're making weekly videos here on CZcams talking about our feelings, anxiety, loneliness, seasonal extreme sadness..... yeah. Awwww, don't give yourself a hard time. Choosing the right white is incredibly difficult. I'm a design professional and have learned the hard way over the years. All the other tones already in your van, your tint on the windows, etc. can make it lean either warmer or cooler than it looked in the store.
I just decided to paint most of the wood in my van white, but was debating between bright white or off-white. Thanks for solving that dilemma for me! Bright white it is! with maybe some nice blue on the trim.

Whatever you are feeling are attempting to express comes through. Be it happiness, anger, frustration, sadness, fear . . . . it shows!!
The honesty and integrity does shine thru with you.
Although this might not be in your future, your voice was made for broadcasting ie radio, voice over, etc.
The tone and fluctuation is spot on. You tell a story well.

Great video Mariah,the same thing has happened to me regarding paint colours and how they never come out the way i pictured they would :-) but i think you are right it is the shock effect because i now live with it and after painting my dining room once 5 times with the same result i swore i would never do that again lol..take care,have,fun ,stay safe and thank you for sharing :-)
When you decide to repaint the cabinets, you might want to try a small foam roller for the large flat surfaces. I'm sure you'll find it much more efficient than a brush.

For some reason camping along the North Platte is so serene, and the storms make it more so. Until this spring, I lived in Yellowstone and Montana for 12 years and miss the land terribly but not so much the crowds and competition for camping (especially on that mountain). Enjoy the journey to Washington, there are some really great spots to enjoy along the way if you don't follow the interstate. Nice song, it has always resonated with me since I was a kid, it really is an anthem for those that live on the road and in the wilds.

Love your videos. You are getting good enough now to start using the DDUUD(U) strum pattern. I know Justin goes over it; it adds a beautiful new dimension to the sound and changes up the monotony of all down strums. I think the 1st song I tried it on was "Brown Eyed Girl" in songbook 1, it's a game changer and not really difficult. Stay safe.
Hi Mariah. I live in the Sierras, the bear has to get too close for the spray to work. I use a pocket size air horn from the boating department in Walmart for $6. You might see a mountain lion or a wolf and you would have a hard time with the bear spray. Pick up a couple. You'll feel better.👍

I think you are so brave going into bear country. Tip....take 2 pans with you on your walks. Clanging them will also scare them away. (Wisconsinite advice) be well...I was missing your videos.
