Just received a 2nd hand MCE 85 in mind condition with the post today, great Mic for crisp and clear voice recording. I would say that it is a very underestimated specialized Pro-Tool, glad I found one for a fraction of what it was originally sold for. Have a M201-TG and a EV RE50B to compare it with, yeah the MCE 85 is a perfect match for mobile recording and well worth it, even today.
Yeah i love the M201 TG, it disguises the harshness at 5k in my voice. The Rode M3 does sound darker than i remember, I've had that one for years - just lacks a bit of detail.

For your voice, I think the 201TG is in a league of its own here. Rode M3 is not bad either.
