- Hello everyone, hope you're all doing ok? We are now at the next stop on our road trip which is Wilmington , North Carolina. We didn't realise that the tv series Dawson's Creek was filmed mostly in Wilmington so that was pretty cool! but wow what a gorgeous place it is here.
When we were driving around North Carolina we kept seeing a fast-food chain called Bojangles so we give it a try in this video. Apparently its famous for its chicken and biscuits so we will put that to the test haha
Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy this series as much as we enjoyed filming it

I grew up in Wilmington. Its a beautiful city. In the spring the Azalea Festival in April is a great time to go with all the flowers. And there are several nice beaches.
So in this Vlog we visit Wilmington NC.
This beautiful city is definitely worth a visit, whether it's the ocean, the gardens or you just want to see some Dawson's Creek locations this place is for you.
And we tried Bojangles, a NC chicken staple that we loved even if they did try and steal my biscuit 😂
You were mere blocks away from a Krispy Kreme in Raleigh. Also, the birds in the oak tree were all Ibis.
Love this road trip i'm currently watching your video during a lightning storm with heavy heavy rain. ⛈️☔️
You guys are amazing! The Dawson's Creek and Iron Man Easter eggs were hilarious🤣
Definitely want to come here. Not a dawsons creek fan but one tree hill was filmed here too.
Never watched One Tree Hill, will add it to the list 😁
Love watching you guys explore the Carolinas, us Carolinians love some Bojangles and Bo biscuits. Kev would love the Big Bo Box, great for tailgating for American College football games. The Bo Berry biscuits are just blueberry biscuits drizzled with vanilla glaze (same glaze like a donut). They also have Cinnamon Bo Biscuits. The fixins are mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, dirty rice and of course the Biscuits! I saw another comment on Krispy Kreme, they are also NC based from Winston-Salem. Enjoying your vlogs as you travel down South towards SC, GA and eventually FL!
Thanks so much for watching, you've made us hungry mentioning all that food 😁 and yes haha can't believe we missed out on the Krispy Kreme in Rayleigh
Looks lovely
Hi Stacey and Kev. There is such a difference in the season's there. The warmer weather brings more thing's to do. The park's, butterfly house and waterways are always fun. I'm always interested in the history of buildings and stories of what they have been used for. Bo's chicken is very good. I told someone once that I'd be happy just to eat the crispy coating 😄. As always thank you for taking us along on your adventures and all the hard work ❤️❤️
Thanks so much MaryAnn, and yes haha could just eat lots of the Chicken skin. It was soooo good 😋 😄
Wow that bojangles looked incredible! Another great video… loved following you on your travels!!! X
Haha thanks Chelsea It was so tasty 😋
Thanks for another great vlog. Glad you got to try Bo-Jangles. It is amazing. You didn't find the Krispy Kreme in Raleigh though. I think it was the 2nd store? Everything has been remodeled and updated but the old sign is a great photo op.
Thanks and no we missed that in Raleigh, didn't realise it was there dam 🫣😅
I love Wilmington! We live in Raleigh and have a beach house nearby
It was a lovely place
Another great video thank you for sharing ❤😘😘😘
Thanks so much
Hi Stacey and Kev, looks a lovely place. I used to watch Dawson Creek. It was good. Me and hubby would go for the donuts has well, love a Boston cream. 😋
Oooo they were goog donuts lol
When you were in Raleigh at the Museum, you were about 4 blocks away from Krispy Kreme at corner of the Person & Peace Streets. Sooo close to the "HOT" doughnuts.
Somebody else told us that we couldn't believe we missed it
Dam! Oh well, we'll just have to go back at some point 😁
There’s a cute Krispie Kreme in Raleigh!
I don’t know what is next after Charleston, but I thought Savanna was more interesting especially for the British. The cobblestone in the streets were brought from England as ballast and unloaded to make way for the cotton bales. I hope you had or have time to visit St. Augustine, it’s really special. You have to see the fort made from compacted seashells. You can see where cannon balls tried to break through and failed. They say it’s the oldest city in America.
Funny you say that as after Charleston we do indeed visit both Savannah and St. Augustine. We spent ages looking at that Fort with seashells in the wall 😁
@@OneCouplesAdventure can’t wait to see the next episode .
are you going to New Orleans or up the Misissippi on a riverboat tour. ?
We'd love one day!
Hi guys, I have a question on a P&O cruise (Ocean terminal). What's the earliest time you can drop off your cases please, thanks lot's and lot's
Hi, I think it was 10am 👍
