Ben Hollis was the interviewer and creator of this 1997 segment from his “Ben Loves Chicago” TV show. Ben was also the co-creator and long-time host of “Wild Chicago” (and “Ben Around Town”). Always inventive and quick with a quip, he won a total of EIGHT Emmy Awards - 3 for “Wild Chicago”, 3 for “Ben Loves Chicago”, 1 for “Ben Around Town” and 1 for a pilot called “Free for All” about all the free activities available via the Chicago Park District. In addition, he won the coveted “Studs Terkel Media Award” for covering stories and people in Chicago that are usually overlooked - an honor that was bestowed by Studs himself.
