I'm going to stick my 2 cents in because not 1 beauty influencer I've seen is talking about this product and I have no clue why, but if you are a woman of certain age who has those horrible lines around your mouth especially on your upper lip that make you crazy you absolutely MUST pick up the Lancome Serum Primer. I have no idea how or why it works so well, but it is like magic at smoothing out those lines around your mouth. I'm talking about what looks like an 85% reduction that will last all day. I am 52, and the most noticeable lines I have are the ones around my mouth, so I am in love with this product. It is pricey, though, so getting it during the sale is definitely the way to go!!!

I have dry, mature skin (50 years old on May 19th last year so I am a year older than you) I WISH you had dry skin because I would use every foundation you use! Lol - I tried the new Saie foundation but, it was kind of glittery on me, it may have just been the shade I tried. I really appreciate you're honesty and not just recommending every viral expensive product. I also just prefer certain drugstore products over highend. I bought two ND palettes that went on sale and i just don't love them so I returned them and placed a colourpop order instead at 3/4 of the price. I do love the large retro glam palette though and I don't have anything like it.
I absolutely hate using sunscreen on my face with makeup. It irritates my face, however, I went on vacation and picked up the new Neutragena invisible Serum sunscreen and itâs beautiful. Itâs in a pink and orange box and has a pump. Itâs SPF 60 and I recommend this to anyone who loves or hates sunscreen like I do. You can buy it at any drugstore and itâs super affordable on Amazon. I can even wear it lightly applied under makeup. Everyone should try it going into the spring and summer!

KVD for oily skin. Such a win! Lasts all day. Iâm VERY oily. And I work in a very warm environment and sweat almost every day. The KVD stays. I actually have to use a bit of a thicker moisturizer with it. Yes I have to use some powder here and there. But overall, love the KVD.
Have you tried or looked into the DRMTLGY line? If not you should! Great sun screens (Elta MD dupe) and LA Refining Serum is as Sunday Riley Good Genes - just an all around great skin care line. And super affordable!

For anyone looking đ at Brow waxes : I bought Patrick Ta soap brow wax last spring and forced myself to use it all before I could purchase another high end brow gel. Hated it so much, but just bought the new Benefit Fluff Brow Wax and I love it, itâs way better than the 24hr brow setter, Anastasia brow gel, itâs the best for natural looking brows. I put it on wait 7-10 minutes then go in with my maybelline pencil, it leaves them with hold, volume but brush-able. So Iâm sure the Too faced fluff wax one is probably the same.
Wow! What a lot of information. I agree that Calliray So Blurring is the holy grail of primers. I just wish we got more in it for the price. If you haven't tried out the Mac Satin lipsticks, you should. They have some gorgeous colors in there. I hope everything is still around when they get to us Insiders. I wasn't impressed with Drunk Elephant at all. I was gifted the entire line and I was so excited to try it out, only to be very disappointed in most of them. I've switched to medical grade products where I think the hight price point is warranted because I actually see a difference in my skin.
@@pennyt9535 Medical grade means the product has a very concentrated amount of more potent ingredients, ingredients that are closely controlled by the FDA. They also need clinical research studies to back up their claims. Jill Canes has a great blog about Medical grade vs over the counter products. She lists 7 reasons medical grade is better. Itâs a good blog, if youâre interested. â€ïž
@@jackieallen9808 At present Iâm using Skin Medica TNS Advanced Serum with Growth Factor Technology. It promotes rapid cell turnover. They say it takes 12 weeks but I saw improvement in just a few days. Overall my skin just looked better and felt better. Shiseido Bio-Performance hyaluronic serum, which I would say save your money cause itâs no better than other hyaluronic serums Iâve tried. Paulaâs Choice 1% Retinal Treatment but Iâm looking into Medic Crystal Retinol which is supposed to work 11 times faster without irritation. Dr. Brandt Hyaluronic Facial Cream is the best hyaluronic moisturizer Iâve found so far for itâs plumping abilities. My skin has gotten dryer since menopause and Iâm all about the hydration now. For Vitamin C Iâve used Truth Treatment Serum and it works, but Iâve recently seen where Glutathione can be so much better at lightening and firming skin. A lot of K Beauty has this ingredient and it looks promising and you can get it cheaper than others. I may have some pricey products but Iâm all about savings where I can. I use Honey and Coupert and those money back savings really add up and you can cash them out for new purchases. Hope this helps!đ

Hi Risa, I love â€ïž your channel and the content you bring us. The Colourpop Quartz palette is beautiful but I fell in love with the Stone Cold Fox palette is a must have. It seems like it has very similar colors that are in the Quartz. I just got over the Ulta 21 days of beauty and I'm not ready to do Sephora's but bring it on. At least I can pick up stuff at Sephora all at one time instead of heading down there every day like we did at Ulta. I'm kind of financially tapped after Ulta but I think I might be able to come up with a little more to spend. Keep bringing your videos to us and may you and your family well and stay safe.

You are my favorite CZcamsr, and the first channel I ever subscribed to, the sadder I am that you don't like Natasha Denona's eyeshadow palettes, which are my favorites. I first learned with them that makeup can be a real art form. Your opinion has influence on many people, including me. You always try very hard to judge in a balanced way, this didn't seem like it to me in this case. I think that is a pity. This is my first comment on CZcams ever and what do I do: criticize! I'm surprised you didn't mention Kulfi's concealer in your recommendations. What ever happened to that one? You had such a remarkable reaction to how good it looked when you first tried it.

Absolutely agree the your recommendation of the EstĂ©e Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation. Iâm 53 and Iâve been using it for several years. It is my HOLY GRAIL. No matter how many new and trendy foundations I try, I always go back to it. It is absolutely beautiful. Itâs lightweight, provides a solid medium coverage, gives a dew-y but not shiny finish, looks completely natural, and wears well all day. It never clings to dry patches, and does not look cake-y, even if you build it up. To top it off, it has an SPF of 45!!! (Yes, I still wear a dedicated sunscreen, but what a bonus!) I use shade 2N1 Desert Beige, and itâs a TRUE neutral shade. EstĂ©e Lauder knows how to do neutral shades, unlike many high-end brands, whose âneutralâ shades are actually very yellow.

Catrice concealers are usually good. Love also essence sensitive skin concealer. Similar formula.

I wasn't impressed with Drunk Elephant at all. I was gifted the entire line and I was so excited to try it out, only to be very disappointed in most of them. I've switched to medical grade products where I think the hight price point is warranted because I actually see a difference in my skin.

There's no such thing as 'medical grade' skin care. It's a marketing term.
@@pennyt9535 Medical grade means the product has a very concentrated amount of more potent ingredients, ingredients that are closely controlled by the FDA. They also need clinical research studies to back up their claims. Jill Canes has a great blog about Medical grade vs over the counter products. She lists 7 reasons medical grade is better. @@jackieallen9808 At present Iâm using Skin Medica TNS Advanced Serum with Growth Factor Technology. It promotes rapid cell turnover. They say it takes 12 weeks but I saw improvement in just a few days. Overall my skin just looked better and felt better. Shiseido Bio-Performance hyaluronic serum, which I would say save your money cause itâs no better than other hyaluronic serums Iâve tried. Paulaâs Choice 1% Retinal Treatment but Iâm looking into Medic Crystal Retinol which is supposed to work 11 times faster without irritation. Dr. Brandt Hyaluronic Facial Cream is the best hyaluronic moisturizer Iâve found so far for itâs plumping abilities. My skin has gotten dryer since menopause and Iâm all about the hydration now. For Vitamin C Iâve used Truth Treatment Serum and it works, but Iâve recently seen where Glutathione can be so much better at lightening and firming skin. A lot of K Beauty has this ingredient and it looks promising and you can get it cheaper than others. I may have some pricey products but Iâm all about savings where I can. I use Honey and Coupert and those money back savings really add up and you can cash them out for new purchases. Hope this helps!đ

Hi Risa, I love â€ïž your channel and the content you bring us. The Colourpop Quartz palette is beautiful but I fell in love with the Stone Cold Fox palette is a must have. It seems like it has very similar colors that are in the Quartz. I just got over the Ulta 21 days of beauty and I'm not ready to do Sephora's but bring it on. At least I can pick up stuff at Sephora all at one time instead of heading down there every day like we did at Ulta. I'm kind of financially tapped after Ulta but I think I might be able to come up with a little more to spend. Keep bringing your videos to us and may you and your family well and stay safe.

I first learned with them that makeup can be a real art form. Your opinion has influence on many people, including me. I'm surprised you didn't mention Kulfi's concealer in your recommendations. What ever happened to that one? You had such a remarkable reaction to how good it looked when you first tried it.
I still use it! I actually forgot several things so there will be more videos! This sale is overwhelming for content creators too, we have so much âstuffâ, some items get forgotten too easily.
