    Hi Matt, thank you for all the effort you are putting into making these videos… both inspiring and very easy to watch! I am building a ‘space of mind’ cabin and am struggling to find a quality, heavy duty metal chassis… would you mind sharing details of where you got yours from? Thank you.

    Hi Matt, came across your videos a few weeks ago and found them very useful, have you taken down the rest of the sheperds hut build vidoes? As this is the only one i can find.

    Hi Matt, this is great. Where can we find the finished product? Is it listed on Air BnB?

    are you a contractor or a handyman? Just curious where you got all your knowledge. I'm a handyman by trade and very impressed with your videos. Thanks

    Hi Matt, loving the videos. I'm building a shepherds hut too. and I'm at the stage where I'm putting the waste plumbing pipes in, it's a bit of a minefield, I was wondering how you did yours? I'm looking at running a 110mm drain pipe along the length of the hut and then having the shower, sink and toilet go into that. The problem I'm having is where to add a vent (or if I need one) I'm worried about the pipes having suction/air problems without one, after researching this I found that vents, like houses need to be high up, which I don't want. All the pipes will run under the hut, so I'm struggling to know where to put a vent and if it can be horizontal under the hut. Any advice you have would be much appreciated. Thanks

      Hey Jonny, you can put a 110mm soil stack and vent on the outside of the hut adjacent to where the toilet flushes, so that when someone flushes air follows behind. The soil stack doesn’t have to go all the way up to the roof, you can cut it short, approximately 600mm in height vertically above the connection to the toilet and place a cap on top like this amzn.to/3riUL1W then the rest of your other pipes for the shower, basin etc can connect to the 110mm soil stack pipe on its way towards the ground and wherever you will be draining the sewage to. :) I definitely wouldn’t do a horizontal vent. I hope that helps. Best regards, Matt

    how difficult it is to install central heating for beginners

    • @MattHutton
      @MattHutton  Před 2 lety

      Hey thanks for your question. If you’re doing something simple it’s not too hard as a bit of a knack and skill to soldering so if you do a few practice runs first you should be all good. Check out my video on how to install central heating to see for yourself: czcams.com/video/MsF8zAwFw28/video.html
      Are you having a gas boiler fitted or is it electric or oil?

    Hey man what would you do if shower mixer leaks water between brass connectors I’ve tried PTFT tape, redone it multiple times 3-5 times still no results do you recommend thread seal with tape ?

      Add dope over the teflon tape (wrap it at least 6 times).
