Wondrous Veluwemeer Aqueduct Water Bridge | Drone | Netherlands

- "Architectural engineers have created some amazing structures in this world but the Veluwemeer Aqueduct in the Netherlands is truly the best. Most aqueducts are basically bridges that are built above water. But the Veluwemeer Aqueduct is a bridge for the passing ships while those driving in cars go through a tunnel underneath the bridge. In other words, it is an underwater tunnel where the ships sail on the top and the cars travel underneath it. That way traffic jams can be avoided because cars no longer have to wait for boats to pass by anymore." - The Mind Circle
Came from instagram to check it's real or not 😂
Which instagram?
Hahaha me too xD
@@illianpalafox5652 which Instagram pic? 🤣
@@sanjary it was a reel
@@miasanmia6503Do you have the link? :)
Straight from Instagram! 😁
😂 yes
oh my God. seriously I lost my word after seeing this. salute for those architecture and engineers who built this.
I think you tube is verification centre 😂
There is a wider one
Saw this on Instagram and came straight to CZcams for verification. I'm speechless. Last three minutes of my life was "how the hell did they managed to pass the bridge under the water 🤔
They didn't make a tunnel to pass the vehicles, instead they created a hallow space in the bridge just to hold the water
Same here. 😅
Bro this is literally me😂
Same here m also see this reel on instagram 😂
Everyone is talking about the same as you 🤦♂️😅
Who came after see the meme 😅😅
😂 yup Instagram post

Me after seeing Instagram post. How Amazing
@@sanjary insta reel.... in which a nice drone shot is shown
Absolute genius. The mind of man is a wonderous creation. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Not genius as this is by the coast and when it floods it can block the road.
The ability of Dutch engineers is no doubt, especially in water management. They have proven by saving the Semarang area of Indonesia from the threat of premature drowning during the colonial period
Came from fb to see if it's real 😃
Amazing Netherlands 👍🇳🇱
I am amazed! 🤩 - but It's giving me anxiety, because my paranoid mind is saying: "what If there's tsunami?" 😳
It's not sea
Tsunami in a lake? :D
In the case of tsunami , Biggest & largest buildings easily collapse then it's just a bridge... 😉
It's a lake , so nothing will happen
Oh I see. It's just a lake.. I didn't really think about that.. but yeah, It's probably my PTSD. I drowned before, so.. mostly any lakes, rivers, ocean gives me anxiety.. 😔
If we do a bridge like it on the Nile in Egypt it will be beautiful
Idiot. The blue Nile is in Ethiopia don dare to do that. Stupid!,!
We’d like to help you.
@@mihiretbisrat8396 why the abuse?

Dude, amazing drone shots!!!
These Dutch are crazy genius mechanics!!
Muy hermoso e increíble 😍
What a wonderful video!
whole clip shows the beauty of Engineering
Amazing n un- believable😳
great engineer ‼️❤️
Excellent camera work 👌👌
Замечательно )))
Indeed a great bridge but also check out the bridge between Malmö (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark) :) an engineering marvel as well! 🇸🇪🇩🇰 Öresund Bridge… looks as if it disappears in middle of the water (because it goes underwater then) ☺️
Saw it and it looks amazing
Thank you for recommending
Saw this on reels and came straight to yourtube to confirm it😲😲😲
This is beautiful
Excellent Performance
So beautiful, who will sponsor me to go visit this places? Ahahah... I mean it.
That was satisfying. Imma sleep well tonight :)
Came from Instagram to see in detail how this works too
Came from fb to check amazing wonders
Awesome❤️
Very nice☺
Great😍
Amazed😍
This should be a wonder of the world
Just came from insta to check if it's real and woooooow🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I usually don't believe some of the things I see on Instagram but hey I'm speechless rn after watching this
MasyaAllah 😭💗
incredible bridge i saw first a unique bridge in holland i salute bridge worker team
Ashwani Kumar We actually call it a aquaduct....ducking the water. Not a bridge. Bye from the Netherlands.
I live in Harderwijk and drive underneath it every single day but i never saw it as special since it is just a basic Dutch thing lmao
Super.
Really amazing how is possible great salute that intelligent architecture ❤❤
It's a masterpiece
What a mind and construction
MODERN WORLDWIDE WONDER!!!!!
Amazing
i'm curious how tall is the bridge... i mean the separated side
Pretty cool! But I assume that none of the boats or small ships passing through that channel have large keels or deep drafts in general; the channel's depth (between the road tunnel and the open sky above) doesn't appear to be very deep. It's just for dinghies and sailboats, I presume?
Well yes, it's 3 meter deep so only small boats can pass through
there is also a bridge for deeper boats after the aquaduct
I came here from instagram after seeing a cruise ship pass through.
No....It's wayyyyyyy more than that. ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️
My 30ft Catalina has over 12ft keel..
Heaven🙂
came here from LinkedIn........Just wow!
I'm cleard my confusion here😊👌

Can I use some of this footage to make a reel? (I’ll credit you inside the video and in the description, ofc)
A tunnel under a bridge? Well wow! Than the English Channel is the greates water bridge I know! What a bohaw some people make over (pun intended) a simple under-pass
hmmm ...needs this in CIties Skylines....
Im shocked rn. Hoooomans mind is amazing. Subhan Allah.
That’s great
Muhteşem bir görünüm
Looks good but don't know how many years it will sustain.
superbbb
amazing and extraordinary engineering
Hii

COISA INTERESSANTE
Omg 🤩🤩😳😳
Wow very beautiful Mashallah ❤❤❤❤❤
I wonder how it compares to the cost of a bridge? Also how susceptible it is to damage from storms and sea level rise compared to a bridge. Pretty cool if you don't want to see a bridge for whatever reason.
all structures regarding water are designed to withstand once in 10.000 year events. Also planning for these structures also take in account estimates for climate change.
The reason to build an aquaduct at this specific location is that the waterway is mainly used for sailingboats. That would have made the bridge either frequently interrupting the flow of traffic or the bridge would be so high that it would not be cost effective and it would be ugly.
A bridge needs a operator to open close for the sailing boots.
The sea level is of no influence on these waters.
The road is very busy, and the cost of waiting traffic when the bridge is open is much higher
In that place, you need to build a high enough bridge that will allow sailboats with big masts to pass under it with enough clearance. That means that the approach h and ramps of the bridge need to be kilometers away from the actual bridge... that's a lot more costly than a tunnel under the water. We tunneled under rivers before, this is not the first one.
How much weight can it sustain ? Like a cruise liner ?
Wow

Came from Facebook to check if this is actually real🥺❤️
I've dream to visit this
Haha. Ive been there. It actually looks more impressive from the air than it does on the road/ on the water. You pass it pretty quickly and thats it. Project is fun though
@@samuvisser we got tons of these kind of bridges we also have ecoducts which are made to help animals cross highways.
Please where is it located😍?
Nederland mein pani ke liye bhi bridge airplane pass hone ke liye bhi bridge animals pass hone ke liye bhi bridge. Innovative!!
Saw this in Instagram..I had to visit CZcams..
Unbelievably cool concept but I wonder if flooding is ever an issue?
in the netherlands flooding has been a isue for a while but we made huge dams and delta works to protect ourselvses
Welp it's super neat but it seems like it would have been just as easy to make a regular bridge so the cars go over.
@Jazz Derp, that's why I'm not a civil engineer. Thanks!
Wow so it’s real
what if thers a sudden increase of water by heavy rain or by anything ?
Je viens de Facebook pour vérifier si ça existait 😂 c'est bon
Tem q ter coragem já pensou se quebra?!
Díos porque no nací en Europa para ver tanto desarrollo...
Check out Oresund Bridge in Malmo Sweden it is more stunning and wonderful beyond you can imagine.

Beautiful palace..
what if the bridge break ?
Harderwijk
I am sure engineers know best so just wondering in times of flooding, heavy rain, or earthquake what could happen.
That’s literally what I just asked too!
If you want to know what the Netherlands does against flooding from sea, watch the delta works. And floods from the rivers (because of heavy rainfall in Europe) the delta programme. It is not specifically for this aquaduct, but it is how watermanagement and disaster prevention is handled, and will inderectly explain how water level raise is prevented in body's of water like this (think locks/sluices, dikes, places for the water to go to that does not harm people or infra, pump stations etc)
@@IJubane thank you for taking the time and reply.
