- When you're tabling at a big comic convention there are so many other vendors competing for attention and sales. so how to you stand out in the crowd? Well your first step should be a great branding and booth design. I talked to some artist that have both their branding and booth design down to a science

I’m so impressed with everyone having figured out their thing and how they came to discover it: awesome interviews, Scot !
Thanks Yann. I had a blast doing these interviews and learned a lot myself.
Such fun interviews. Thanks again for stopping by. It's really a humbling experience to be interviewed by someone I truly look up to. Keep up the good work and get your mad science on.
Anytime. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me and share your thoughts on branding Sean
Rad video Scott! I think Will said it best when he mentioned that everyone is so cluttered so having a beat a clean setup showing one thing is the best thing to stand out in the crowd!
Thanks Ox, I agree. Although I’m not sure I can bring myself to just selling one thing.
You were right around the corner from us. AWW rows 1200/1300, a bunch of authors. Glad you had a good year. We did too. We'll be back as well.
I walked down your aisle. There was an author there who l went to school with but she wasn't at her table. Glad to hear you did well sometimes cons can be difficult for prose authors.
Serkworks Art Labs what a shame. Come ny next year, because most my authors will be back.
Great Show thank you!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You're more than welcome.
Love these con vids Scott, I partipated in my first artist alley last year at Baltimore comic con. I went in with a theme of costumed anthro heroes.Needless to say, i didnt do well financially but I was proud that I came out of my burrow and and met and befriended many talented artists. Now with the experience and connections I have forged, i do intend to try my hand again at a con, and seriously try to brand my self as you and the artists in the video has shown, I think, looking back, that was my biggest mistake, not branding myself as an artist/creative,
Sorry to hear your first Artist Alley show Wasn’t financially successful. sometimes it take a show or two to figure it out. But you have the right attitude, take what you have learned from past shows and build on it.
Great vlog! Thanks for doing this and sharing it with us!
Absolutely, glad you got something out of it.
Thanks for the interview, Scott! Glad to be your friend.
Absolutely Daniel, I meant to send you a link, but it looks like you found it on your own. Thanks for doing the interview and for all your advice over the years.
Cool companion video to your con wrap up!
Thanks! It was fun to interview everyone.
Great video, very inspiring! Thank you!
Thanks!
That was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. I got to talk to some cool people, do some cool things.
Wow, those are some amazing booths! I really liked Sam’s art so I’m definitely going to check her out 😁 thanks for sharing Scott!
Thanks, definitely check out Sam. I put a link in the description.
Thank you for the interview.
Of course!
Man, I feel like i need to wear some shades that says, "Brand yourself!" Or at least tattoo to my forehead lol! I keep hearing this over and over and I'm finally starting to wake up lol! I love how all of you have your themes all put together and you all stick with them. I'm currently cleaning up my Instagram page and I will have to change things about my CZcams channel. I've just always had a huge problem with being all over the place, instead of just narrowing things down to just one thing.
Again, we totally appreciate these videos. They're always so informative. I'm going to share this on my Band page and Twitter as well.
I like to do a lot of different things, but have found a way to tie it all together under one central umbrella. This may be an option for you too if you can make it work creatively.
I just started my channel and I love yours! Great job!!
Awesome! Thanks Bryan!
this is my favourite video you've made!
Thanks! That was fun to interview everyone about booth set up and branding.
Awesome people !!!
Yeah it was great for everyone to give me a few minutes of their time.
