Why do some people act like you cant have a cordial discussion with other people? We are still supposed to have the fruits of the spirit when dealing with others. You dont have to be rude or mean to someone just because you dont agree with them.
Only God knows the hearts. We have to go by teachings and behaviors. These guys’ teachings and their refusal to be corrected should tell you they are not “part of the body.” At least, not yet.

Hi Corey. Today is July 2, 2024. I always enjoy your podcast. I do have a question being that you deal with false teachings. Someone I know is teaching in my church that God created evil and tried to give scriptures about it. I don't believe that. But I need to know could you do a podcast on your platform about this. It.caused a heated debate in the classroom. Please, please could you help me to know the answer for sure as well as so many others would want to hear your teaching on that. It would definitely cause a lot of chatter in your live chat. My answer is God is 100 percent holy. He allowed Satan and his demons to choose. Just like we choose and Adam and Eve chose. Yes God made Satan but Satan made the choice to go against God and be evil. The curse of Adam and Eve was inherited to us but we still choose to do wrong. God didn't make robots. Your sister is right! There are: 1) known language type tongue 2) tongue that needs interpretation 3) spritual language tongue that no man can interpret. All 3 are displayed in the Bible. Corey is great on many topics, this is NOT one of them. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Your sister is wrong...and you are right that she is deceived about tongues. I'm not a cessationist and I do believe in tongues, but not what the pentecostals/Charismatics call tongues. The modern tongue movement is largely from the Asuza street movement...and their Toronto Blessing descendants. Those folks exported the American "gospel" and tongues tradition all around the world using donations from Americans.

Sign tongues- where a believer BY the Spirit…not themselves, will speak in an unlearned foreign language as a sign to an unbeliever- Acts 2:6, 1 Corinthians 14:22 Then you have public gift of tongues which occurs when a believer speaks in tongues out loud to the whole congregation and someone MUST give interpretation- 1 Corinthians 12:10, 1 Corinthians 14:26-28 And my favorite lol- the prayer language that should be done privately as with all prayers, but this is praying in the spirit or some translations say by the Spirit. If you do your due diligence and research the revival meetings during the second great awakening, they were speaking in tongues, falling out, prophesying, etc. However, many historical mainline Protestant churches shut it down because folks started getting “in their flesh”…Furthetmore, more and more elders started to embrace a more reformed/cessationist approach to theology. And then….1906 came with Azusa St and the spread of Pentecostalism in America and the world.

I agree!! He'll say he's open for correction, but the time of when we do correct him, then we are wrong and "outnumbered".
