This is the first time I've heard this song performed where I thought it could come close to doing justice to the legacy set by the one and only Marin Mazzie.
You should have heard it in rehearsal from 2 feet away, in a studio in Manhattan, without the unfortunate feedback echoing off the tiled vault of this great room on Ellis Island. She not only has an amazing voice, but she is also a genuinely nice person.
she sings in full sentences and it is glorious
“Or they might have been wrooooong” is so stunningly phrased here. Her placement gives me chills every time.
The acoustics in the room are stellar! Her voice sounds heavenly 😊

Such an incredibly accurate statement.
Carmen Cusack’s rendition is high up there too 😉
Lea Salonga is a contender as well.
Christiane Noll is breathtaking. I heard her sing it live, and it gave me chills.
@@thatheartonmysleeve Just watched it on CZcams. You are correct. Outstanding.
This woman's belt is so stellar. She was a revelation in Finding Neverland and she's just as amazing here.
Anything this woman does is literally gold.
Chills everytime ❤
Every time she sings she changes my life
My family passed through that room when they immigrated to the United States from France.

Joe Harkins I met at the premiere of Austen’s Pride back in October and she was truly an amazingly kind person. I loved talking to her.
Thank you. I can’t listen with all the echo. You can’t hear her at all.
Always loved this song and this version is just breathtaking! LMK is amazing!!!

Absolutely Magical and Wonderful! Brava!
Absolutely stunning! I hope you might have "Your Daddy's Son?"
Aisha Jackson sang the role of Sara and very nearly approached Audra McDonald.
The tempos are a total mess but it's a very nice voice.
OMG! Who’s the woman conductor? She don’t know follow the singer... She destroyed the song .
