    Great energy Meghan! Very personable and friendly. A behavioral recommendation to go along with quant drills: try not to hedge your words with "kind of," "sort of," and so on. Clients want to know that you're confident in your recommendations!

    Great energy. If there's anything I could add for virtual interviews is to look at your camera - not your screen. You want to engage with your audience so eye contact is important in the virtual world. :)

    I'm just getting into this field. I didn't hear it mentioned here but couldn't a market strategy be regulatory standardization? Ie: positioning the uniform IP within a govt safety compliance requirement framework. Would that be included in market evaluation given the capture could be 100%? Or should that be an aside, or further consideration?

    Thanks for the case! It's really helpful.
    Just wondering, based on the maths error that she made, will her good qualitative explanations cover that? Because she did make some rookie error, e.g. 3/5 is 60% instead of 2/3, 3% of 22% is 0.66 instead of 6.6. Will that pull her down in any way?

    • @Managementconsulted
      @Managementconsulted  Před 3 lety +6

      Yes, definitely! Math mistakes aren't abnormal - but not catching math mistakes can hurt you, and how you respond when you find out you caught them is the most important. Remember - no single person decides your fate, so it would impact a single interviewer's score (they wouldn't give highest ratings on math) but there would be more to consider between a simple "passed on" or "not passed on."

    What does the interviewer usually prioritise? Approach to solving the case or the calculations? Her approach was good. Would it be fair to say it was undone by the calculation mistakes (from an interviewer’s POV)?

    She recommended designing something for the mining market. Is that Correct? I thought because the mining market is 100% captured, there is no market for HighLow. Please answer, I have an upcoming interview.
