- For the first time since the 2018 model year, the Honda Odyssey has received changes. Although it has not been fully redesigned, the changes bring improvements to the front and rear of the Odyssey with the biggest changes occurring within the interior. New technology brings the Odyssey in line with its competitors. Two new paint colors are also available on the Touring and Elite trim levels.

you must absolutely add to the odyssey: awd. pano-roof. 360-cam. timing chain. (no timing belt get rid of it. but non-turbo. turbo v4 is not good option. v6 naturally aspirated plus plugin with extra large battery) slow-traffic follow feature. built-in vacuum cleaner must be returned to the car. light-off-roading pack option. (with high clearance and some other light-off-roading features) also needed a additional extra front and other lights females have trouble to see at night (in comparison to men this is biology thing) and vans are driven by many females.
Good review. Honda fell short on the technology updates. Missed opportunity.
I would venture to guess 2026 will be a new gen with all the latest and greatest. 2025 is just a light refresh.

Great video! I’m sooo glad you said your spiel about hot climates lol. I live in SE Texas, hot most of the year, yet car manufacturers love to throw heated seats on like the second or so trim but gate-keep ventilated seats until the second to highest, or in Honda’s case, the HIGHEST trim level ! They should consider the delivery location of the vehicles and offer ventilated as opposed to heated or vice versa contingent on the intended region for original vehicle delivery. A dealer in the Midwest ordering Odysseys? Ok, we’ll offer heated seats with EX-L and up and throw in ventilated on their Elite trims. Dealer in Florida ordering Odysseys? Ok, let’s offer ventilated seats starting at EX-L and throw in heated for the Elites there, etc. I really hope car manufacturers start listening to consumers and take our actual wants/ needs into consideration more because we’re spending big bucks for cars nowadays. 💰

Even without a turbo the Odyssey has turbo lag. Wish the would make it more responsive when you push the gas

The Honda Odyssey minivan needs a full redesign with a hybrid variant I think.
No disagreement with that. I don't know how soon we will see a full redesign, but it most likely will come at the earliest as of the 2027 model year.

needs a 2 inch suspension uplift and roof ventilation in the back to be the worlds best van.... and an awd option
Honda has previously said they want to keep the low ground clearance to keep the vehicle easier to get into (think for small children who are often being hauled around in a minivan). They basically don’t want a running board required to enter into their minivans. Someone like myself appreciates that. if my family were to potentially be in a situation requiring awd then we’ll just use our z71 suburban lol

@@breplusthree7957 Yes but you don't need to be 8.5 inches high. It is 1 inch lower than a Civic. It is low to a point to be damaged easily. Others are around perfect 7 inches.

Do the power folding mirrors fold when the car is locked?
Only if you press the button near the mirror control. Don’t understand why honda puts crappie Bridgestone tyres on a van wth a msrp of over 50k too much road noise and horrible traction in bad weather
Just about perfect as is, except it desperately needs fold flat second row.
Wish Honda did not remove the BluRay/DVD player. That is my biggest disappointment for the 2025 model. Forces us consumers who want to upgrade to buy a portable unit and connect via HDMI. Maybe the next gen Odyssey will have hybrid and AWD to compete with other competitors.
This car is so dated. it looks like a 2010 car
