    This is embarrassing to say the least. What a lame excuse?
    I studied Chinese language in UG and I have a bunch of fine colleagues who speak fluent Chinese. Some of my colleagues work with the Chinese Embassy and some are even lecturing at UG. Others are working with reputable Chinese organisations.
    What steps have the Judicial service taken to secure interpreters?
    Posterity will surely judge us!!!
    There is a special place in hell for our leaders.

    I have a doctor at Ridge who speaks it fluently
    A colleague also speaks it fluently

      @@sergedalli7924 usually, an embassy provided consular and interpretative services to its citizens who find themselves in trouble in foreign lands. That's one of the major reasons why they have embassies and high commissions in foreign countries. So when there is a language barrier, the usual protocol is to contact the embassy for that service and if the person is found guilty, they make the arrangements to either repatriate the person to serve his or her sentence back in their country, or negotiate an acceptable deal with the local authorities.

So the embassy won't provide any translation nor interpretation services to Ghanaian courts. Moreover, do courts in Ghana swear-in trained court interpreters? If not, this situation involving foreign nationals is bound to happen again and again.

    I told him, I'm from Ghana, and he boldly, he said, wow, I have connections with the army. I deal gold for the past 18 years in Ghana..
    What got me upset was
    he was making fun of how he use to persuade a some of our leaders with a little some of money...that really got me
