I mean combos in mod are so good and broken cause they are not done For multyplayer The devs think about how a skill can be in multyplayer and try to balance it so they don’t make things so broken like mods
@@stepworudo4966 not all mods end up broken tho. I actually prefer making movesets based off vanilla hits and just building my own unique combo strings from those because they don't end up so over the top or unbalanced.

For example you could do the whole combo with lights and heavies, or just do the lights or the heavies. They can’t seem to capitalize on the potential this game has lol

Sorry folks! Gotta go with DLC again. It is amazing what people have done with mods and the assets on hand, but the DLCs just have a level of polish you rarely see in mods.
Gotta say xenoverse lowkey stepped up their game a bit with some of these dlc skills, stuff like comet strike feel like skills we could only see in mods

If you spam that you might lose your footing if you get stamina break. Unless the camera doesn't glitch out)
In my opinion, the DLC is better. Also, I accidentally found out that if you do Vanisher Gaurd (as GOGETA ONLY) you can transform without doing the little cinematic. Pretty useful.
IMEs moveset, transformations(can also go blue) plus skills excluding Meteor Explosion. DLCs Comet Strike and Meteor Explosion are better (hopefully a modder will combine the two) and punisher drive is pretty cool with its alteration.
They really need to refix Gogeta's super move. Put full forces Kamehameha it will be much better. In the end of the move he never telaported to broly and did Kamehameha up close to him.
Because the 2 skills that mattered the most are the skills Dimps made amazing. Modders simply use the assets already in the game and make it look better (for the most part) A shame Full-Force Kamehameha and Stardust Fall aren't really included, but they do kind of exist (I.e. Cancelable Super Kamehameha and Spirit Blaster)

But, the good thing is, our modding community (minus the console ones) can pick up on where Dimps left off and temporarily create an environment where it seems like it's really part of the DLC.
I say the mod have better transformation BUT the DLC did the unthinkable of letting us combo into transformation. DLC have better skills and ultimate since the mod Meteor explosion look kinda funky because their take it from Legends and I also like the new version Punishing Drive over the modded one if only their let us have it with custom Gogeta Blue
I think everything goes to MOD, because they even add the counter, full force kamehameha, I really like the kicks (Hyper Drive). And transformation also goes to MOD bc is not just the same Super Saiyan transformation animation is actually new. However comet strike + Meteor crash is better than the MOD.
God counter is a definite plus for the mod supers over the dlc which has shine shot for some reason, but otherwise aside from that it's a 50/50. Ultimates, meteor explosion for the mod was very cool and I'm impressed with how it looks, however the dlc is a win. Warp kamehameha is a *very* good skill and even though the full power kamehameha looks cooler, it doesn't seem more useful over warp kamehameha unless it does significantly more dmg. The basic combos. Both are satisfying, mod is more cinematic that the dlc but its a 50/50 Transformation. The animation, mod wins overral but dlc isn't bad by any means. Mod could delve deeper into the Transformation by allowing gogeta to go through SSj and then SSGSS like in the movie (although that may be alot of work I'm not sure) but that's not really that important lol.

The thing is a lot of stuff in mods would be shite online because they're tryna be what they're not. Xenoverse isn't FighterZ you can punish flashy animations way easier and the camera angles don't help. They're still great but 76% of the time the DLC would be more practical.

The DLC version wins in the Meteor Explosion ultimate skills because of how anime accurate it is, but for the rest...yeah the Moded version takes the Cake here.

Imo the dlc on all aspects. The mob is trying why too hard to be cinematic and cool but ends up looks stiff and unnatural and it just doesn't look good.

Probably say the main thing the mod has on the dlc is the god counter which is incredibly clean. As well as the full force kamehameha
Full force kamehameha looks hella unpolished, transitions could use a little work.
