They're waiting to see how well the game actually does so they can get the most out of the deal in EACFB 26 and beyond. If they took the deal EA offered this time and the game did way better than projected, they'd have a hard time asking for more going forward.

They'll just call it "Best WR Award" or "Larry Fitzgerald Top WR Award".. stuff like that.. and then when the awards committee wants back in next year hopefully EA says "Sure, but you have to pay US now if you want your awards in our hugely successful game 🙂"

Yeah, the level of commitment to make every game feel unique seems to be unmatched. How many times in Madden did the commentary repeat itself from game to game? Seems like there's gonna be a LOT more variety in that for EA CFB 25

So incedibly excited for this game!! I was truly heart broken when 2014 was announced as the last college football video game. Just like college ball, the game just hits different than NFL/Madden. Hook 'em see yall on the gridiron in the summer!

I’m most interested to see how the progression works. It was one of the rougher aspects in 14 since it was linear and you could expect every player to go up 3-7 overall every year.

Told you ncaa is going to always be better. Madden will never do any of that they don’t care about franchise mode just ultimate team And money. Madden should have everything the last ten years Madden should feel like that but it doesn’t

College football before this was EA and the put out something different every year. Madden and the nfl are money hungry. I’m praying this game doesn’t play like Madden. It would be nice to play a football game where the players didn’t run and cut like they were waist-deep in a swimming pool.
They've stated that it will have a completely different feel from Madden, but we'll soon find out
I don't think I'll mind if the game play is the same as long as the atmosphere and attention to detail for everything else it great

Hear me out, I know it’s not gonna be in this game, but a coaching carousel that can be imported back and forth between ncaa and madden would be really cool. I’m sure a lot of people don’t care about this but I love details like this. Like if a really good coach in the NCAA got a big contract to go to the NFL and decided to go pro you can move classes of coaches from the NCAA to the NFL just like players. And maybe even if they don’t workout in the NFL they could get imported back to the NCAA. Would be sick

The reason Fowler mentioned Colorado getting a special announcement is because he’s a Colorado alum. It’s probably just him going “as an alumnus of this school it’s amazing to see them make it to the mountaintop” or something like that.

The names of the individual trophies don't bother me, as long as the Heisman is in the game. What I'm really hoping for is something like the "trophy room" like they had in years past. I'm hoping they include rivalry trophies like the Jeweled Shillelagh for USC and Notre Dame or Paul Bunyan's axe for Minnesota and Wisconsin. I think these trophies add a cool aspect to the game and to view all of the trophies you've earned and to view each rivalry trophy.

I love hearing all the work & details there putting into the new game as they should! Everything matters even down to the small minor things to create the best immersive & authentic experience possible which looks like EA is doing. But is anyone else also still a little bit cautious with the gameplay? Considering it could be the same as Madden. I hope they distribute the same amount of effort on every aspect of the game such as gameplay, visuals, realism, creativity, & all the other details that matter 🤞

I think when Fowler says that if Colorado wins, since he graduated there, he is going to be more excited and give extra emphasis on it.
If making the game totally customizable, it would be nice to really customize the conferences and the playoff format and the number of games in a season. I would customize the season to 10 or 11 games and regroup the conferences to how they were before all of the realignment or create a certain amount of conferences with a certain amount of teams. I would have a 32 team playoff with conference champs receiving automatic bids the remaining bids going to whoever finish ranked the highest in the polls. 1st and 2nd round playoff games in the higher seed home stadium and the remaining playoff game in the New Year's 6 Bowl stadium. So at the most, teams would be playing 15 or 16 games.

The fact that the awards opted out is really sad. Like I get you as a company have to make money, but this is the first game coming back, EA doesn't know how well it'll do. Maybe set up a deal where there's incentives or promise more for next season if the game does as well as expected.

I mode that I would like to see is just a “playoff” mode where you can pick like twelve teams, assign their seedings, and watch the games play out. Kinda like in MLB The show 23, but just twisted to have that college feel.

The only reason I could see EA really stressing to get all of these real players in game is so they can sell packs. Ultimate team will be a dominate thing in college football too. Hopefully they just put more work into the other modes.

Eric, I've said this to you before and you've responded. I think you should actually say in one of your videos that "All you naysayers that called me a liar owe me an apology." I know that you're not a "me, me, I, I" kinda guy but all the hard work and research you've done on this game from its rumored release to the official announcement that its being worked on and then a lot of the confirmations. THROUGH all that you were called a liar or you were doubted (note: I was NOT one of those people). I honestly think you should state that in one of your videos but, it IS up to you, my friend.
