I chose this ending during my first playthrough (It was a tough decision between Gemini, Diana and Subaru - all three had almost the same affection level towards Shin before the Christmas date). For the 2nd it will be Ratchet, I guess. Diana really kinda touched my heart when she shared her wish about marrying and having a family. And when she did the surgery. I feel like her ending was the most emotional
This was the first ending I got, and I'm glad I got her ending if I coudln't get Ratchet's the first playthrough. She's a total sweetheart and pretty darn gorgeous. I also love the vocal version of her theme.
If. by boring and cliche. you mean one of only two endings worth calling an ending that's both resolute and consistent with the character arc as opposed to some stupid, sappy slice-of-life clip.
@nitakappa Exactly...without a boring cliche JRPG ending, it wouldn't feel as much like a JRPG! :P There needs to be something like this balance things out. We have to feel that Shinjiro *could* be a normal guy if he wanted to. Besides, Diana is the one who seemed to truly love him the most, so I'm really happy with this ending.
@6thhokagephil I also thought "Dark Diana" sounded AWFULLY close to Kallen, too. But yes. ...and this voice actress is precisely why I'm considering the K-On Dub. Heh...
Well, they cannot all of them be Samurai Cowgirls, Biker/lawyers, knife maniacs, gunslinger lolis or traps/reverse traps. Sometimes, you gotta roll with the more standard fair.
While a cliché, I think this one works because the whole point of her story and character development is that she develops the will to live.

Same i had ratchet my first playthrough but i went with gemini and after each other playthrough i always had a rough time getting ratchets lol
