Yeah, I do for sure. I also like his upbeat personality. I think its a must for vanlifers. I love this channel because I'm in one of those phases where I hate everything in my fridge and need some cooking ideas. I am sort of a hippy dippy go with the flow, rather be barefoot type of woman but my husband is more on the uptight, glass half empty side of things so even though I'd love to take a month or two and travel the west in our van and see the sites and camp and rough it in exchange for being in nature, I think it would stress him out and ultimately we would be bickering a lot haha

@carlatomlinson2729. You bring up a great point and fabulous idea. We have planes and cruiselines to take people on vacation, but I have never heard of a company that would take people camping. 🤔 you would take your own tent and camping gear and the people/company would just hold a group camping spot and they could help you set up so you can enjoy hot springs or beautiful views while in nature. My dad is 83 and can't drive long distances anymore, but loves to camp and took us quite a bit when we were young. We are taking him camping to Yellowstone next June🏕 Enjoy Mateo's videos, but I certainly hope you are able to enjoy camping a few more times. Never say never 🌹

I always wonder why people choose van life when you can be in the comfort of a house or apartment where it’s warm in the winter and cool in the summer! Winters look nasty and uncomfortable…and what about when you’re not feeling well ?
I guess I’m just looking at it from a senior point of view. I might’ve been able to handle it better when I was in my 20’s! Stay safe…& warm in the winter months! 🩷

I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 with a Slide-In topper made by 4 Wheel Camper, that I’ve lived in full time since 2021.
A rule of thumb that I use when traveling is to make sure I have a case of Military style MREs with me at all times.
They have come in handy when I’ve been stuck out in snow for longer periods of time than expected. They also come in handy for those nights where you don’t feel like cooking.
You can order them online and/or buy them from a Surplus Store in your local area. Some might consider them to be a bit pricey, but in my opinion… they are definitely worth it because they last for YEARS!!! Just something to think about.

Look at you, Matteo! Vlogmas Day 2 in the morning! What a surprise! Never been to a hot spring but I love jacuzzi spas so I bet I would love them as well. Trying to figure out the heating situation won’t come overnight. Like much else in life, it’s trial and error. You’ll work it out!
