this. this right here. this perfectly encapsulates how i feel about sam and dean. this captures all of the never ending grief and suffering that 15x20 has caused. It's the most awful feeling to have to see your comfort character, the only person you can really rely on in your life die so cruelly. the way dean died was...there are no words. it was cold and evil. and the fact that most of the whole episode is focused on him dying from different traumatic camera angles, different traumatic script lines that were said and sam suffering through his grief alone. i had to see dean's body hanging on a rebar. i had to see his body, wrapped and caught on fire. it was so traumatic, because sam and dean are my heart. they are the other half of my soul. they are the better part of me. they're more me than i am. even if they're fictional, they show me more real love than anybody else in my whole life has showed me. they are real to me. dean is my brother. and sam is the love of my life. i love than more than anybody else. when i look at them, i see the universe. which is why it is so cold that they had to suffer so intensely, so much more than any other show i've ever seen, and die so,so many times so evilly. i wish i could hug them. i would feel the safest i've ever felt in dean's embrace. i just want him and sam and cas to wrap me in his arms and just never, never let go. they are my comfort, and my sadness, and my hope. but mostly they're my love. (yes i just quoted wandavison. ;) i love dean. i love sam. and i love cas. i love them more than words could ever explain.
