As a long time supporter of the theory Halbrand = Sauron, the last episode, Alloyed, was a real treat. I absolutely loved it. Galadriel & Sauron's arc in this adaptation are fascinating. their chemistry and the angst is off the charts. I love it. Expect more video during this long wait for season two !
I started this video in the middle of the week, before the finale, with the idea of exloring Galadriel's eventual gilt when she realises the truth. 1x08 served me so well and I knew I had chosen the right song.

@@Maia3311 True. And they created good story. Maybe non-Tolkien, but good. Tolkien woudn't like maybe, but I am not Tolkien and it is no problem for me ;)
I like this show. It has some weaknesses, but not when we're talking about Galadriel and Sauron's interactions. Their love/hate relation is
heart of the story so far, when they are on screen this show shines, both characters are intriguing and well acted.
What will happen next in this story - I'd love to find out in the next series.
I rather do not expect such a revolution as changing the ending, for example, but to be honest, I am simply open to all options.
I'm not looking for compatibility with Tolkien books, but only for a good engaging story.
And so far this story is pretty good in my opinion.
