A guy named Tyler Posted that he was friends with this guy when he used to use heroin. That this guy in the video is lying he's from a town on the outskirts of LA. Tyler said he has been clean for 5 years now so I tend to believe him. Tyler offered to help if he wants to get clean. I thought something was fishy too no accent from Greece I'm from California he has a California accent. Anyway in California you can go to rehab for free why is there gofundme for him to go to rehab when it's free. All and all I hope he gets clean.

God bless you Damien. You are so bright and genuine and I so wish that you find the strength to get out of that place. You could be so happy living a different life. If you stay there, that lifestyle will take everything from you and leave behind a shell of a man.
Can someone please tell him to go back to his family awhile and get cleaned. I know there isn’t much opportunities in Greece but he had a bad start and need to restart and reevaluate his life over again. There’s so many online opportunities and he needs to be around family love and support! He’s so lost. He seems like such a genuinely good person we don’t want him to go waste. The world is a cold place!
His family might disown him and Greece is where all the Afghan heroin travels through to get to Europe. Also there are so many refugees that they don’t have any resources. Maybe if he gets lucky with being funded to go to rehab here his luck might change. But I doubt he doesn’t want to go back because he’s been lying to his family.
I mean, I was raised in Cali on the rez and moved to Texas and now everyone says I sound like I’ve lived here my whole life despite being here for about 6/7 years. Seems like a good guy just got forced into stuff to survive and now can’t see a way out. I will be praying for him to make a recovery and become the person he originally wanted to be
My props to him. I know addiction and the cycle is hard to break. People should understand it better. You cant "just" stop..it dont work like that. My best wishes to him and anyone dealing with addiction.. Keep your head up bro

But it won't compare to a daily meth habit for the same length of time, ya know? Is sugar releasing dopamine when you eat sweets? I don't know.. probably. But drugs are releasing them on a much higher level.
Anyways, when I think about it.. it's like yeah, it is like having sugar all your life and then being like "absolutely zero more sugar.. ever.." And then 2 years later someone has your favorite brownie and you think you can just take a bite. Ya know.. just a bite because you have not been the same since you stopped sugar. You don't have the same motivation and energy. You haven't felt happy. You want just one good day... because without sugar, you don't feel right. You felt right before sugar. You haven't felt right since. One... just ONE good day sounds too good to pass up. Just imagine that bite definitely breaks your clean cycle. I'm not trying to explain it like you're a child, I believe you have the idea.. I just can't emphasize enough how much stronger the ups and downs are. That's the only thing that doesn't make me want to compare them... yet, they are alike if you look at it a certain way.

What an unbelievably handsome, self aware and gentle human. He has so much potential, I hope he finds himself in better circumstances soon.
This is so sad, even when the interview was about to end he kept on talking. He’s really been holding it in and is scared. Must’ve felt really good to talk about it. I know this in a re-upload but omg. Like just you spending time to talk with him, he appreciated it. Probably felt safe, from the streets and from himself. Wow.
I get the sense he's hanging a little longer in the studio in hopes that Mark can reach out to him. He doesn't want to go back out there.
Mark kept trying to end the interview. Pretty sad and awkward.
@@morganzimmerglass9925 yeah, that was painful to watch. :(
I think he kept talking as he was reaching out to Mark for help. He does, however, pay put a LOT of money for all those drugs. Maybe he was hoping for the $ that Mark gives people for food.

Love you brother. We do recover man. I used to shoot heroin all day, used to smoke clear, used to pop Xanax bars and overdose and be blacked out for months at a time man. I'm coming up on 4 years clean man. I remember the feeling of being way deep down in a hole with no idea of how I would get out and losing hope that I ever would. You are loved brother just as you are man. Just keep trying man, you're not a fuck up, you're not a failure. Keep trying man.

Damien is literally decaying before our eyes. He gotta get help now, before it's no turning back. His energy is honest and positive I wish him well.
He’s a precious young guy. I pray he turns around. Glad he met Mark to talk about his past trauma. That is therapeutic. God bless him.
he's still so literate and coherent i pray he can get the help he needs before he loses that
What a nice guy! He seems so vulnerable and lost. I hope he can get an opportunity to get out of this lifestyle and find happiness in his life.
I hope he is doing ok, i feel bad for all the times hes been takin advantage of. I hope and pray hes able to get past it and get sober. I did heroin and meth for almost 20 years and i have been clean for 17 months so it is possible

Am I the only one who thinks his American accent is 100% too perfect? For someone who grew up in Greece, lived mostly with his mom, probably didn't have money to go to an American private school...he has flawless accent, like you would never guess he is Greek. Just saying, something isn't right.
A guy named Tyler Posted that he was friends with this guy when he used to use heroin. That this guy in the video is lying he's from a town on the outskirts of LA. Tyler said he has been clean for 5 years now so I tend to believe him. Tyler offered to help if he wants to get clean.

I always learn a lot from these videos and I've been realizing I avoid watching some because I see the picture of their face and assume it's not going to be as interesting as another one. If I saw their face in public I might feel the same way and be more curious about some one who APPEARS more interesting, but every story I've listened to from these videos proves me wrong. All of them have something interesting to say, or something meaningful, or something that will make me think about my life differently. I should be willing to listen to everyone's story, because I never know how important it'll be.
