i LIKE farmer D, Religion is a tool to assist or appoint people in the right direction for faith and belief in God. You can belive in God and not be a part of a organized religion that often stirs people wrong.
Religion is a tool of control. It separates you from yourself and shuts you off from your humanity by teaching you that your every human feeling, thought, and action is sinful. It makes you try your damndest to be flawless which no person is and it makes you judgemental of others. Chilli comes across as a real hypocrite with all of that. But since it's so important to her, she can't be expected to be with a man who doesn't adhere to her religious beliefs.

classicstorm My mother is an atheist and my father is a Christian and they have been together for over 20 years. Although my dad isn't that religious it has still been an important part of his life. Both of them have open minds and raised me to choose whatever spiritual path suited me best. Because our family has that diversity it means we can have spirited discussions about faith, religion, philosophy etc. which promote religious tolerance and understanding of other beliefs.
Ciz Fitz Doesn't change the fact that the bible says we shouldn't marry people outside of our faith...we shouldn't be unequally yoked..I know there are people out there that do but that doesn't mean you should or should want to....
