      Thanks for watching How To Have Fun Outdoors! The third seat option is super cool. We have not seen that. But that would be a great idea. Check out our upgrade video. We added two more depth finders and 3 extra batteries

    Awesome video. Just bought the same boat and love it. Bought the same cover also and was like what the heck? No instructions?? So my big question is regarding the screws/ tabs. Did you put them in? And the straps on the rear....what the heck do they hook up to? Any help/ info is appreciated. I got it on and tight but sometimes the wind in TX is hellish and I want it secured the way it was intended. Keep making videos of the 1950 so i can steal your ideas........!

      Thanks for watching! Yes, we went back to Pro Bass Shops and they will put them in for you. Silly they don’t have instructions, but we like the cover! They also told us to be careful if you have long trips. Better to not have the cover on if you are towing it long distance as it takes a beating. So we typically take cover off if the trip is over 30 min. But overall we love it. Also watch the modification video. We put in 4 batteries. Works awesome!

      Awesome! Thanks for the reply and info. The dealer has agreed to install the tabs for us.......on another note; have y’all hooked up a tube yet? We are wondering the best place to hook to on the rear of the boat. Ive read the ski pylon isnt safe for tubes.

    • @HowToHaveFunOutdoors
      @HowToHaveFunOutdoors  Před 3 lety +1

      I have not heard that. We have not tuned yet. But I plan on using the pylon. Just make sure you get the correct tubing ropes. I have a pylon like that on another boat and it works fine. But again, in all honesty we haven’t used this one yet.

    Well, it's been a year how do you like your boat? We are looking at this boat and also the Lowe SD 224. Not sure which will be the winner. Any comments would be great.

    I'm considering purchasing this same boat. Thanks a bunch for this video. I really appreciate it. Could I ask a couple of questions? I noticed that when Alice opened the storage area in the middle of the boat, at about 10:10 in the video, that storage area had a lot of water standing in it. There appeared to be a rubber seal around the lid of the storage area, which would make me believe this area is supposed to be dry. I was just wondering how the water got into that storage area. Does it not stay dry? Also, I had seen a video review of the Tahoe 2150, which is very nearly the same boat as the Tahoe 1950. In that video, the guy complained about the small storage area you show at about 11:50 in this video, where the fuses and fire extinguisher are, saying it didn't stay dry. Does that small storage area get wet? One more question. In that same video review of the Tahoe 2150, the guy complained about the Bluetooth radio display, and the instrument gauges becoming so fogged up that they are unreadable. Have you noticed that issue with your boat? In fact, here is a link to the video review of the Tahoe 2150 I have made reference to, if you would like to take a look at it. czcams.com/video/gVSIaaZ9Y-g/video.html Thanks so much for any reply you can offer.

      Hi Kevin, Thanks for watching the video! I also watched the video you watched. In regards to the instrument gauges, we have had no issues. I am guessing they fixed those issues. The radio is also perfect so far. The storage in the front at 11:50 is smaller. But it has kept everything dry. No issues with that so far. We did buy some some dry storage containers for all our storage, as they work the best in the other areas. As far as the storage in the middle of the boat, we did not have the cover on and yes, it did get water inside . However, even in our other speed boats, this area always seems to get wet. After the first time, we lift the front of the boat a little and remove the plug, and it will drain and stay dryer. Hope that helps! We do love the boat. This is my forth boat and so far we are pretty happy with it. I really like our 4 battery system. That is a big plus.

      @@HowToHaveFunOutdoors, hey thanks so much for replying. Yes, it did help. I love to fish, and I've been fishing out of a kayak, and off a jet ski. I don't have the jet ski anymore, and, quite frankly, after fishing off the jet ski, I became too spoiled to do much fishing off the kayak. So, we're considering a boat, which will be our first boat, also. And, probably like you, I want something for us which I can use to fish on both freshwater lakes, and also some inshore saltwater fishing during vacations, plus something my wife and I can use for recreation. So, I began an online search, and it would seem that this Tahoe 1950, with the fishing package, would do what we're looking for a boat to do for us. But, after seeing that video review of the 2150, I got a little spooked. Thanks again. I appreciate the quick reply. Happy boating to you all.
