The story is definitely the Salmon of Knowledge. The bloke in it is folk hero Fionn mac Cumhaill (Finn McCool). The salmon ate a bunch of hazelnuts that fell from a magic tree that made it all-knowing, then Mr Cool burnt his hand cooking it and whenever he would stick his finger in his mouth, he would gain all the salmon's knowledge. Can't say there was much of a moral, but the concept of an omnipotent salmon and a legendary hero that has to suck his thumb to figure out what to do is pretty amusing regardless.
You know, the Fishing Mod that's in fishing edition would have been kinda cool for a free mod made by someone on the Nexus. Problem is, I've seen fishing mods on the Nexus that let you fish _anywhere_ and again, for free. As it stands, this fishing is a few new assets, a handful of activators in the overworld and an animation that plays before giving you something from a levelled list. And this is something you pay for. Another thing that always bothers me with "creation club MiNi dLc" is that there's no voice acting. It's just, get paper, go place, new paper, go place, get thing. There's a lot of terrible voice acting on mods. People echoing shamefully into microphones, overacting, under acting and generally being cringe... Some is even kinda goodish. But regardless of the _wild_ gamble in quality, at least those modders, for free, try to include new voice acting.

I feel the reason Skyrim's intro seems longer than other tes games is because it's an unskippable in engine cutscene whereas the other games had pre rendered cutscenes that could be skipped and then you were already in the turorial
It's why I only have two characters in Skyrim and a bunch in Morrowind and oblivion. I just can't stand going through the Skyrim tutorial over and over again.

good lord so much of the creation club sucks, most if not all of the houses have unsafe containers. the quests can be ridiculously easy for OP rewards etc.
The only CC content I got (for free from some promotion) all sucked. The house outside of Whiterun had displays that wouldn't properly hold the items they were made for and the general design was boring. The backpack was kind of cool I guess? My main complaint is that everything they tried to make you pay for in the CC was already done much better, for free, by modders.
