You need a van set up like NWFS has to do some traveling and camping! The mountains of WV may not have a big red drum like your last one but they did stock an insane amount of golden trout for you to try and get one hooked up on video!

Quick tip on fly rod assembly, assemble the top two. Then the bottom two. Then connect the halves together.

Dried dandelion flowers make a nice tea, the roots dried and roasted and ground makes a nice caffeine free 'coffee'. Fresh flowers, I like to dip them in either pancake or cornbread batter and fry them up.

This is the Life! Great videos, love this channel.
When you have trout rising to the indicator try switching to a dropper set up. So a large dry fly like a foam grasshopper with tipit going down to a nymph. Then your top fly acts as an indicator that also will catch the fish that strike it.

Not gonna blow up your camping location, but that first spot you stopped at is one of my favorite! it used to be even cooler before it flooded like 7 or 8 years ago. also, there is gold in that river!!!
Dandelion roots are a good coffee substitute, dry the roots, cruch them and brew your "coffee" ;P
The black and white chicken looks like a Dominique, very good breed and also the oldest breed in the USA. Keeping chickens is so rewarding, I also have a small flock of Dominiques.

I know that smell of the mountain forests of Washington. I can imagine it even from trips to Sunrise and Paradise when I was a teenager. It's the dirt, the trees, the water all mixing in a cacophony of aromatics that create a strata of memories which rival the mountain trails and meadows themselves.
Very pretty country. That was a big trout. Letâs go back there another day and try the fishing again.

Hey man love the vids. When fishing the bullet lure up stream, you should try a really slow retrieve since the bait fish you are imitating arenât the greatest swimmers so it might be unnatural for the other fish to see a minnow flying up stream.

Just a thought on your garden. If you haven't yet, throw in some chives. Once they take, split the group and spread it around. They grow almost anywhere!
This coming from a farmer,. You need lots of nitrogen for that corn. It will look greener and healthier when it get warmer and you get more sun.

That first spot was a really good spot. I bet if you waited a little longer til flies came out and used your fly rod, you wouldâve caught a ton of fish. Always loved content!
In those mountain rivers, I have had luck using a 'wedding ring' with a short piece of worm on the hook. Cast up river and retrieve just fast enough to keep it our of the rocks.
