While you could go full mental in survival and have binary signal lines running alongside the piston bolts (so a player is followed by a signal thats the binary address of the wanted end-point station) a much better approach would be to do this with creative/op (for access) and use command-blocks, spawn a minecart with a tag depicting the end-point station. Both are really quite straightforward enough for you to figure out on your own from simple google searches :)

@@flamingfortress04 I'd heard about Minecarts being significantly faster on curved rails for some reason compared to straight rails seemingly around 2012, I only found out about piston bolts around 2018. Could have been someone trying to find a reliable way to use curved rails, maybe some contraptions already used Pistons to propel the Minecart and they just needed to tinker with that idea combination, or they discovered it when looking for a way to propel it without the use of Redstone Rails.
For most that would be better, but with the length of the paths these guys travel it can take more then 10 minutes, not so fun to use a macro to keep peddling a boat or even worse, keep the button down yourself.
Instead of a gametick of delay between pistons you need a redstone tick delay. Two tick repeaters in-between pistons for straight bolts and one tick repeaters between each piston for diagonals. 14m/s diagonal and 10m/s straight This is half the speed of the java version. Bedrock lacks redstone ticks in-between gametick so this is needed to make things reliable.
Azteched Minecraft You can still make piston bolts, I wasn't referring to translocation at all. Unless you mean the gametick thing (translocating a block every gametick). I'm haven't looked into TL mechanics that much

Someone was probably fucking around with pistons and minecarts and accidently invented this, and it's more of an exploit than a bug

u dont need thousands of blue ice, firstly you can build ice path like 1 ice 1 air, and you can use 1 packed ice and 1 blue ice
tbh piston bolts are way cooler

No, I don't think so. I believe blue ice is faster, the only problem I have with blue ice is that you need to hold down your forward key.
20b/s in straight line and around 28b/s in diagonal but it can be AFKed unlike the ice boats (which is faster if i remember well)

They are not, but you can AFK while traveling on a piston bolt which is useful for going long distances.
