This IPL doesn't have a weak side this year but for one reason or another Punjab, Delhi and Bangalore seem to be lacking in more departments than others. So my bet for the top 4 will be the old greats MI, CSK, KKR, SRH and the new giant GT. 3 & 4 will have a tough competition with LSG and RR. Both of them have a strong batting order but they lack death bowling resources which could hamper their chances.

If Wood wouldn't have pulled out they would have had a strong bowling lineup because their Indian bowlers have great talent. Comparing that to RCB they have a non existing spin attack. Karn Sharma is their best spinner and they play at Chinnaswamy.

Fact : Rishabh Pant is rockstar undoubtedly in test format with all close in fielders. But Rishab Pant in T-20i/ IPL format is mediocre. Pre-Accident everyone forgot his poor performance and struggle in white ball formats. Rishab Pant failed miserably in ODi n T20 cricket, All the franchise and international teams kept bowling him wider of the stumps and he struggled to score big..hope he does good this time
Can't say fact, then write unfactual things. His performance in IPL is great not mediocre by any stretch, he averaged almost 35 while a very good strike rate of 148, that is great batting stats especially if you compare with top wkt keeper batters who had played IPL.
If DC fails to qualify for playoffs this year, DC should sack Ricky ponting immediately..he has had enough chances to prove himself as a coach but failed so far. Moreover his biased interest towards Aussie players is not helping DC to select players from various International teams.

Marsh was missing for a good chunk of the season, there was no Pant, and they were forced to use guys like Lalit Yadav, Manish Pandey, Abhishek Porel, and Sarfaraz Khan as regulars in the batting lineup. I'm sure if we dig into 16 years of the IPL, we will find more weak lineups but that is one I can confidently say was weaker than this year's one. So yeah, this opinion is most definitely crazy.

The good side of using Mumbai a city's name and India, country's name is that all citizens of the city and the country instantly connect with the team and presume ownership of team. So sorry there's so much disgust, I feel when a player of Rohit's ability, skill and personality is redused to watch in the field a dump, highly stupid guy lead a team loved by millions who contributed in cheering the team to all of it's success. Because it was led by a highly skillful player, who contributed greatly in building a great team with the backing and love of millions of fan's, who love and respect Rohit. Yes you paid him but you got lucky because there are better baters, better captain's, better fielders in IPL but no team had all three in one guy and you end disrespect that guy. especially after such great contributions. But Rishab Pant in T-20i/ IPL format is mediocre. Pre-Accident everyone forgot his poor performance and struggle in white ball formats. Rishab Pant failed miserably in ODi n T20 cricket, All the franchise and international teams kept bowling him wider of the stumps and he struggled to score big..hope he does good this time

His performance in IPL is great not mediocre by any stretch, he averaged almost 35 while a very good strike rate of 148, that is great batting stats especially if you compare with top wkt keeper batters who had played IPL.
Pant has not been an overwhelming success in T20I's, but he has had pretty good success in IPL. He has played some astonishing knocks that I remember.
