Beacon Rock State Park - Columbia River Gorge, WA

Beacon Rock State Park is between Skamania & the Bonneville Dam on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. You can hike up this cool 848 foot basalt volcanic plug (Beacon Rock) and then hike into the forest for a few waterfalls, including Rodney Falls, Hardy Falls & Pool of the Winds. There were some wildflowers and lots of pretty birdsong along the way. This is another Washington State Park gem worth a visit.
