This video made me full on weep, no shame. The truth is, the show should’ve done better.
Cas deserved to know that he was loved. So many people loved him, and it’s devastating that he never got to hear that out loud.
Dean deserved the happy ending surrounded by loved ones. After the years of sacrifices and pain, they all did.
The parallels comparing Dean to Bobby sent me over the edge. Just…wow. These characters deserved SO much more than they got. We, as fans, deserved more.

It made me very emotional when Bobby and Dean's faces overlapped.
The way Dean treats Jack is the way a man really raised by Bobby treats his son.
It's not that rubbish written by that bad writer of S14 S15, that's not Dean, and even if he didn't meet Bobby and only John raised him, I don't think he's going to be that bad rubbish.

Thank you so much. I think the shitty way dean treated jack was out of a place of fear and hurt so I understand in a way, but nevertheless it also kinda felt ooc for me as well. Bobby would never have even hesitated for a second to raise jack as his own. As someone raised by Bobby, Dean should've welcomed jack more than he did in the show so I blame the writers. (Wouldn't be the first time they forgot about their own characters anyway)

Can I scream with you because tbh I was in need of such a happy fix it video too AAAAH so I had to do it myself. Also the song was absolutely perfect for this, in my eyes it's Dean telling Cas that he is loved and that Dean himself will try to be better for Cas and his family (especially Jack).
Hence the whole song is a promise "a pledge to prove it so" ARGH MY EMOTIONS.

Is it just me sometimes I felt like they were trying to make dean as like a villain.I feel like he was written out of character with Jack and cas in season 15 ,14,13. Also thank you! This edit is not about them being happy in heaven but rather on earth. But yeah, in regards to the actual canon, I pretend they're happy in heaven. Also yes, I agree, the way Dean treated Jack and Cas in the later seasons felt ooc to me as well. Especially as someone raised by Bobby, Dean probably should've treated jack with less animosity than he actually had.
And my favorite thing about destiel? It's hard to say. I definitely agree with them changing each other. I also think, a beautiful thing about them is how they defy the world. Like Cas rebelling against heaven for Dean and Dean breaking Amara's spell because of Cas and learning that he is worthy of love. Ah, there are so many things I love about them. Plus their scenes! No one can tell me this is two bros being bros haha
