They need to adjust the payout for the hand pays. I think they came up with the $1200 amount back in the 70's. Hand pay in todays casinos especially with all the denominations and lines on a slot machine should be set at $5,000 now instead of $1200.

That was excruciating to watch. I can't believe you had that many plays without a single quad.
Expected frequency of a quad in 8/5 Bonus is 1 in 423 hands. So you can easily go 800, 1200, or even more hands without. I've played 4 hours without a quad. A friend of mine went 7 hours with no quads. It happens.

I notice that when you get 3 face cards you drop the ace and keep the other two. I assume it is personal preference and gives you 3 possible draws instead of two.. I keep the ace as one of my two and have gotten 4 aces (no kicker obviously)..fyi
@Brock Hankins l know that bonus strategy says to drop the ace and keep the other non ace cards but was wondering why that is "the rule" and was hoping " the master" could give me the reason it was the rule.. I don't play perfect strategy and do better than most playing video poker.. averaging two royals a day. moving to Vegas next year..it's not what you say but how you say it.. you might not be so quick to criticize..do you know why it is a rule?.. nothing asked nothing gained ..thank you

You keep the Aces and are dealt the 4h 3h 5h, thus missing a straight flush if you had held the Ah and 2h.

That alternative hold isn’t anywhere close to a decent trade off. I don’t have the EV pulled up for the two holds, but AA is overwhelmingly the better play.

On like the second to last hand, if u would have kept A n 2 of hearts u would have had a heart straight flush! But...that would have meant throwing away an ace for the pair u kept. Sometimes, I think changing it up with what u hold can make a difference, but...I also never play$100-500 hands either! 😂

The problem with hitting 4 Aces with a kicker on $25 for $100,000 is that when you drop back to $1 games and hit it, you don't see it as a $4000 win, but rather a $96,000 loss. You end up doing exactly what he is doing, playing for bigger and bigger denominations, and he will soon be broke.
Staying too long on one game, esp. at the $500 a hand play. Count how many hands your playing at each casino to find how long it takes for them to pay on average per the amount you started with. 3K, 5K, or 10K vs the amount per hand 25, 125, 250, or 500.
