You saw it today fagbenle was actually the reason it was close NOT boston. Because she's a great transition big that actually cuts very well and is fast. Boston is simply big and slow. I just newly got my attention on wnba cos of Reese, Sabrina and Clark. But the highlights needs a lot of work. Women wants to be on the same pace with men but fails to put in the work. Iâm talking about the media team

I would have never thought that a team with 2 no. 1 picks and a no. 2 pick would be losing like this to start the season. I feel really bad for Fever fans they payed a lot of dough just to watch this NUCLEAR MELTDOWN of a team. Just please don't give up on Clark fans. This is when she needs the support tbe most.

AT is absolutely a stud player , Clark is absolutely the draw. It may very well end up clarkonomics saves the charity league but overall it's a put back and 3's game with way to many fastbreak layups not getting converted.
Based on these highlights, I think Fagbenle should start.
Already my second favourite player on the team based on effort alone! Her hustle is amazing! Hundred percent she needs to be starting and motivate everyone to play with that kind of energy. She also is the only one Iâve seen able to rim run to keep up with Caitlinâs transition offence. Was awesome to see her getting some buckets in stride, the way Stuelke did in Iowa. Hope they play her more this coming week she proved she deserves it!
I agree she is like an older Stuelke, someone Clark is familiar with. Boston play style does not match the type of playstyle they want to use.

Clark will struggle on defense because these women are to damn good. More talented faster quicker stronger and more athletic than her she could've taken a few charges but she moved right out of the way đđđđ
Itâs so dumb they have CC bringing ball up, Mitchel is clearly that person that needs to control offense and they need to have CC come off screens and team setup back door screens. CC at top of key is sooo bad for their offense because itâs stagnant. Whenever CC goes to bench Mitchel shines and team rallies but CC comes back and everyone is ball watching. Put CC on sg and make her come off screens but Mitchell is fast and needs to be at the top of the key.

Yeah I've noticed when she puts in the effort that her defense is okay. But I agree with what others have said, she's mostly disengaged and it's awful. Constantly creating disadvantage situations for herself and her teammates and giving up easy buckets. I would be frustrated playing with a teammate that created so many bad defensive situations for the rest to cleanup

Every team Indiana plays is playing harder than theyâve ever played in their lives to try and show Clark up. What they donât realize, is theyâre inadvertently going to fuck around and make this fever team good. If they get use to playing this hard all the time the other teams arenât going to be able to get up game after game after game. Getting up for one game every couple months is one thing, but to play this hard every night, hang on Indiana⊠itâll pay off!!
After looking at this game, it is clear that the fever seem to be stronger when Clark is not on the court or when she stays in the back section staying out of play đ. No shade

skipping the end of the game because there was a moving screen that was called a defensive foul on the floor against the fever. it got reviewed and the refs still fucked the call up! it was unbelievable and now they are hiding it from the official highlights lol

and scored, they did not show that either. Clark was on the perimeter, it was tied
game, let her attempt that perimeter shot of drive in to draw a foul at least and burn the clock. Failed coaching. Get rid of her. She will be gone before season

The first game the Fever played the Suns this year, they got beat all the way round. Wasn't the best game for sure. This game however, you can tell the Fever are finding their groove. Almost won the game, good coordination and teamwork. Fever might be 0-4, but lots to be happy and optimistic about.

The Fever need to learn how to play better defense and learn how to rebound. Playing better defense will help with the rebounding because they will be in better position. If they dont improve in those two aspects it isnât going to matter how many shots CC makes.
Caitlin is doing great out there against some bad az ballers on every team. This league is no joke. Iâm watching highlights from like three or four games. Never before. 2024 is a breakthrough year for the wnba.

I enjoyed the game and held my breath when CC went to the locker room. Before our eyes we're watching a team learn and get progressivly better each game they plwy. We're seeing a team becoming a top notch team with a top notch player in their midst game by game. Folks i think the Fevers are going to be close or in the playoffs this season.

Rely on Clark, Mitchell and NaLyssa Smith to make the 3pt shots. Not Wallace who didn't even make a 3 this game despite having attempts.

I agree with the not getting rebound comment. Also when CC is on the bench the fever pace on the floor slows down. I would like to find out from teammates if they notice they are getting less free throws and other fouls called. I see the other team getting ticky tac fouls called on fever and watch aggressive calls not get called against fever team. It does make you wonder if things like the possible kick ball if CC stays around or goes somewhere else. I have been watching the games and I think that it is not that she is not big enough or fast enough. I don't even think it is the pace of the game. I think she is a unique player to the WNBA. I think she does need to figure out the defense but she is afraid because of the fouls. This is not college that she was in last month this is the pros and she does not have to play every minute anymore like she did in college. That is going to take adjustment on her part.

She averaged 8.2 assists per game for her college career. Mitchell averaged 3.9. Clark is a point guard. If they try and make her a shooting guard she'll go to Europe for a million plus a year.
@@rangerlongshot college is vastly different from WNBA. Its different caliber of players. They are seasoned and have played against all types of players, here and overseas. Clark's game hasn't translated to WNBA. She will get better.
@@yvette39 I've been a fan of women's college hoops since I was a grad student at Stanford in the 80's. I had season tickets for the Sacramento Monarchs from 2002 until they folded in 2009. You don't need to lecture me on the differences between the two leagues. The only reason Caitlin's game "hasn't translated" is because her teammates haven't figured out how good a passer she is. Hopefully they will.
