Comparison of Asian Countries: Malaysia vs Indonesia vs Thailand vs Philippines. Who Live Better?

- Asians - in this video we will compare those countries which are traveled by millions of tourists every year. Throughout the video, we will compare 6 countries by 19 indicators, such as salary, corruption, democracy and so on. For this, we chose one of the developed Asian countries such as The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos. Ratings will appear one after another. Since this is beginning of 2020, some ratings have been updated. Here will be shown points that countries will get through each rating. And here are the places that countries occupy in the world. After each rating, a red table will appear, in which points are accumulated that countries will gain from each rating.
The rules are simple, the more points, the worse standard of living in the country, the less, the better. Who will be the first and which country will win? You will find the answer to the question only by the end of this video. Let's vote, which country will be in the first and which in the last place? Write in the comments for which nation or country you are voting for. And let’s start the comparison.
The first indicator is an index showing human development in countries. The first three places are occupied by Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines. And the last places are occupied by Indonesia Vietnam and Laos.
That was the last indicator. Let's look at the overall results of our six best countries.
The best country in our top with an honor goes to Malaysia, which took first place in the comparison. Further down the list are Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam. Last in our list is Laos. Im a malaysian and i went to thailand and indonesia some times ago. I really love my experiences there and looking forward to visit vietnam, philippines and laos after corona. Every country in this list have their own unique elements. I love all 6. 🥰
Highly recommend visiting Vietnam. Our country has so many beautiful sites and interesting, unique culture that sure you’ll enjoy. It’s hard to list everything but I’ll recommend some places so you can look it up and decide.
In the North, Hanoi(the capital) is a must, within about 100-200km ish from there we have two phenomenal natural beauties in Trang An and Ha Long Bay(one of 7 wonders in the world).
In the centre part, Phong Nha is the place where you can visit phenomenal caves and forest. The world longest cave system called Son Doong is located there. The city of Hue is our citadel so there’re stuff you’d expect to see in a monarch, castle, costume etc. 2 other famous cities that are connected in centre Vietnam are Danang, famous for its beaches and theme parks and Hoian is an ancient town, lots of cool stuff sold there. Definitely, you should go there.
And in the South, there’s Ho Chi Minh city, basically a cosmopolitan urban centre, financial hub of the country.
Anyway, sorry if it’s a long read but just wanna recommend some places that you should visit if you’re coming to our country. Cheers mate, I’ve been to Malaysia in 2019 and it was a great trip, although I only visited KL and Putra jaya( if I’m not mistaken)

Did yall know that Malaysia is a country that is so pacifist that they have history of Indonesia and Philippine attacking them but they never attacked them and there's 3 historical event where Malaysia tried to connect the countries together but failed, and they still wanted to make connection with them.
Malaysia only defend their place when the attack of Indonesia or known as "Ganyang Malaysia" (you can search this in wikipedia ) or the Philippines attack on Lahad Datu, Sabah in 2013 but they were so pacifist that they helped Indonesia when the tsunami Aceh tragedy happened and help Philippine with their economy.

There just some few who fish-baited some articles about philippine owning the sabah because of the sultanate of sulu extended territory and later on LEASED to dutch. They paid the sultan yearly until malaysia independence and consequently continued the leased under malaysia government. Since the independence of philippines, no more payment was given to sultan of sulu something like UN resolution to solve the issue of territory and so the people of sabah choose malaysia. Nothing to worry about that, its just that many here can be easily manipulated with media. Like some article claim the whole south china sea as philippine territory, which is also claim by china wholly and parts by vietnam,malaysia, indonesia,brunei. Commoners thought that ships near hainan, china is tresspassing, which is kinda stupid. This is unfair comparison. Indonesia had 6 times bigger population than Malaysia. So its easier to Malaysia for develop their countries. You will mostly had better average in smaller population than bigger population. You dont put total GDP in comparison because Malaysia loosing on that. This is unfair comparison. Indonesia had a lot of peoples (240 millions) vs Malaysia only 30 millions peoples. So its easier for Malaysia to develop their country than for Indonesia. Why you dont compare total GDP ? Because Malaysia lagged behind in GDP. If you count only 30 millions Indonesians with the highest standard such as in Jakarta you will see Indonesia actually higher than Malaysia.

Singapore and Brunei are already developed country, their currency way more higher than others in this developing countries mentioned in the video. They can't be compared in this chart.

I Dream of an Asean country like the European Union one day..., one currency, strong military ties, Borderless etc.
My another impossible dream of is that 4 countries that speak almost the same language (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunai) have joined forces to become a new stronger country.

Malaysia is still improving to be better in many ways even though they are experiencing a political issues that hits them a couple of years but they don't seem to be slowing down. The new government indeed had a mission to stabilize the country and right now they are on the right track. By the time they are settled, Malaysia will be 3 times better than they were at now.
