Maybe the things you give your eyes to,.... watch what you give your eyes to....if possible, stay off social media, can be the music you listen to, books you read etc.
Soak yourself with God's word, one of the easiest way to be free....you better be free early, if not it can destroy your marriage.
Stop staying late night on your phone, have a curfew time... have an accountability partner... someone older than you that you report to.
The fear of reporting to the person will stop you from obeying the urge when it comes.
Stop trying to stop. And stop focusing on stopping. Focus on what Jesus has done for for you. Victory is Christ work and not yours
Hey. I understand your struggle. What works for me is to stay busy. I will have an urge but I’m too busy doing other things and the urge quickly goes away. Another tip is to recognize your urge as passion you are saving for your spouse.
Another tip is to pray when you feel the urge. Don’t turn from god. Lean into his purpose for you.
I tell myself, what I’m feeling is meant for my spouse. And what I’m feeling is only temporary.

The only way you can say it is not the word of God is if you can bring scripture that says otherwise. As far as I know and I listened attentively, he began everything by reading scripture
“Reproof” is one of the purposes of the word of God mentioned in 2Timothy 3:16. It’s as important as doctrine, correction and instruction. The problem is a lot of people find everything that’s not presently beneficial to them to be a waste. It may not be the word of God you need for your present season but it is definitely the word of God, and if not for pride, you’d listen because this may be the tool you need for another season

Rachael was not his wife at that time. Read Genesis 29. I am the son of a pastor. Be mindful of that.
@@Dthundermanthe verse you are referring to is Genesis 29:11, the amplified version of that verse says “Then Jacob kissed Rachel [in greeting]…” which without the amplified version even pointing it out, you can easily know that is the context simply because this was a common greeting pattern for the Israelites in that day. And you telling him to be mindful of you being the son of a pastor is quite amusing , as this doesn’t matter what matters is an accurate understanding of Gods word. A proper study of Gods word will insinuate all tint of sexual indulgence in one form or another should be left for marriage it really is just common sense unless we want to make up excuses for ourselves.
