- I've recorded hundreds of remote podcast episodes over the past few years, and good preparation for your guest can be the difference between a killer episode, and one you have to scrap. Let me show you exactly how to prepare your guest for a remote podcast interview.

Do you have a guidance document template you could share as a starting point?
I share info in a Microsoft word doc
Why is this so dark? Hmm?
Well, my Prep Doc is a little different in that I don't like my interview to be "too scripted". Therefore, I prepare a bullet-point doc which briefly I discuss with my guest before starting, and be sure to cover any topic the guest wants to discuss. For me, that seems to flow much better and leaves some room for an occasional surprise that usually makes for an interesting conversation!
Yes, a template would be nice, how do we get one?
Could you please share links or the documents you mentioned for preparation by the guest . This is v useful. Thank you.
Very comprehensive and helpful, thanks. I can´t wait to record my first episode soon.
Plenty of good info for a 1st time podcaster (I am planning one). The plosives are distracting though! 😉
A template guidance document to download would have been so valuable 😢
Can you post a template for us to modify?
see my comments above, I hope it helps...
I have a question, i try to upload the video to youtube, wich i made with your magic editor, but it gets all stretch out, so what do i do wrong?
The plosives....
Right? Not a good look to have audio issues for a tutorial about avoiding audio issues 😂
