Listen.. as someone that’s reading the first book this franchise had sooo much potential. Imagine my anger when I saw deleted scenes that could’ve potentially improved the movie. Like Emmett not accepting Bella and getting irritated at Edward always waiting on her in the parking lot. This franchise is a wasted potential masterpiece. The world, the vampires, etc so interesting also the Cullen and the other vampires back story.
Twilight might be really goofy but it's really entertaining. Do we all know that almost all the relationships in it are toxic? Yes. Do we all know that the story and acting is a little cringey? Yes. But are we all going to keep watching them for some reason? Absolutely. As soon as you said TVD and Damon I was like “compulsion” when they made the mortals/humans forget. When I first saw Twilight I was a teenager so all I focused on was the drama, angst, romance since I didn’t read the books in high school like everyone else. It was until later I realized this movie is comedic, they didn’t take some of the right dialogue from the books was my assumption. But who knows, love your reaction Chuuu I laughed right along with you. 😂❤❤

I have watched this series hundreds of times, I am a weirdo who has to watch the entire series everytime I start. I read the books, and I went to the movie premiers. an interesting fact! it was confirmed in the book "midnight sun" (twilight from Edwards perspective) that at 14:50, when Carlisle say "animal attack" and look at him, he's telling Edward that it was a vampire attack in his mind so that Edward could read it, that's why Ed seemed so upset and confused!
This first movie is soooo funny....I was kinda disappointed that the second one wasn't as funny lmao but they do get a bit better as they go on I guess. I was a big fan of the books though. 💜
Hey Chu! I didn't know you had never watched Twilight, but I'm glad you reacted to it! As for inspiration, the Twilight series probably took inspiration from the Vampire Diaries. Both started out as books. The Vampire Diaries book series started in 1991, and Twilight books started in 2005. So TVD came out first, just like Damon met Elena first lol.

I don't think they ever explained their eyes in the movies but basically: when their eyes are black its because they haven't fed in awhile, when their eyes are gold its because they've been feeding on animal blood, and when their eyes are bright red its because they've been feeding on human blood, the brightness in the color of their eyes also correlates in how recently they have fed, be it animal or human blood

I dont think vampire diaries ripped off twilight cuz they also are based on books. The diaries books came out in like 1991 and twilight in like 2005.
