Not at all surprised how much you had to get done in a day. I had a gift and home decor shop for about 11 years. Rarely a quiet moment and then I worked on paperwork at home after my kids went to bed.I would have much preferred a fabric shop. I only worked at the store because I did my husband a favor for what I thought would be six weeks! I loved sharing your day,

Loved your video and I thought all you did was drink coffee, chat and look for fabric. No seriously running a business is not a 9-5 job but it’s nice to have something you can be proud of and you can be proud of what you’ve achieved. Well done xx

Your shop looks beautiful Jenny and anyone who thinks that just “happens” is seriously naive. I am so full of admiration for all that you do for us to enjoy all that you offer. I live a long way off in Cwmbran, South Wales but do have ambitions to visit in person one day. 😊 Lynne

Great video; as a retired business owner I am not surprised at all at the volume of work 'after hours'. Keep doing what you do; I shall be getting the sewing machine out of mothballs; you truly are an inspiration Jenny.✂✂✂

Firstly... I love that you have a bell 😊 and I can't imagine you sitting still for longer than it takes to drink a cup of tea!!!
No you're right there, sitting down doesn't last (it's fatal anyway!) The bell is a recent addition by a kind friend/handyman, he came to fit my dishwasher and decided I needed one so bought it for me 🙂 xxx
Loved your behind the scenes, sometimes it's good for people to see that a business is hard work even if you are surrounded by beautiful colour and fabric , loved you dungarees , did you make them.

Obviously!!! I got that a couple of years ago with the matching toaster but I really wish I had the microwave 😆 I was kindly gifted a red microwave and have no reason to replace it but it really should be purple 🤣 xx
That really is a long day Jenny and all starting with the gym 😮. I could never do exercise so early in the morning even though I’m a morning person! It’s very interesting seeing what you get up to. Keep up the fab work 💜
Ah thanks Michelle! You know there was a time I would have baulked at the idea of early morning gym but this year I made myself do it and I surprisingly like it now, I'm smug for the rest of the day 🤣 xxx

Well done we all appreciate you and love your Friday lives and your appreciation for a cup of tea woman after my own heart! A beautiful shop but living in Suffolk it’s a bit far for me. I don't juggle it all Debbie 😆 something frequently has to give, but fortunately I have a wonderful hubby who is super supportive and it's a bit easier now that the kids are older and a bit more independent xx

Hi Sally, yes I do! I have some wonderful regulars and a fair bit of passing trade for odds and ends. Of course on workshop/social days its full up! The majority of my business is online at the moment though xxx
