Pitted dates 500g chopped
1 cup warm water
Sodium by carb 1 tsp
3/4 hours
4 eggs
225g butter and flour
175g-200g sugar
No baking powder
9” 9” backing dish

I have tried so many date cake recipes. But nothing came out like this one. So delicious, soft and your instructions are very thorough and only I had to bake more time than you mentioned.

Sugar 200g (depends on taste)
Vanilla 1 tsp
Almond essence 1/4 tsp
175 degrees Celcius - 45 mins

Made it 3 times and came out REALLY well every time..Only difference is that i mixed the ingredients with a whisk very well.no hand beater or mixture.everyone should try this..Thanks Anoma Aunty..!! 😍😍😍
